Everybody's got a past.
But Anna Lewis doesn't remember a thing about hers.
One moment she was at home with her husband and baby, the next one she found herself in a dark motel room with a metal-limbed man who tells her she's a lethal assassin. Tha...

I can only hear the wind blowing as I follow the path of footprints in the snow. I know he hasn't gone too far away from the facility and my suspicions are confirmed when I find him seated in a rock on the edge of a cliff, facing the horizon. I think he hears me walk up to him, but he pretends he hasn't and doesn't even turn to me when I make it besides him.
"Would you care to explain what was that?" I point my gun at him when I see he's also got one in his lap. Yet, that doesn't seem to intimidate him either.
"I never thought I'd see you again." He seems calm, at peace. "Anya, my little sister..."
"Stop calling me that." There it is again, that nickname. It sounds remotely familiar, I'm sure that's what he used to call me back when I was still his sister. But now, I don't want him to call me anything. This man is sick. He hurt innocent people and almost got me and someone I care about killed. "I don't know who you are."
"But now you know the truth." Even if we are related, I don't think I could ever see him as my brother again.
"Why did you do this?" I get my gun closer to his head. "You almost had a man killed for something he didn't do."
This is when he finally locks eyes with me. "I lost you again because of that, didn't I? You're not gonna stop loving him even if I tell you all he's done." I try the hardest to hide the conflict inside my head. He's right. My feelings for Bucky are not gonna change despite what he did to me. "I knew he would lead me to you, eventually." Zemo explains. "I found out about you when I ran the EKO Scorpion. We were tracking down HYDRA affiliates and that's when I discovered the files about the Winter Soldiers program. There was still a lot of classified information, but it let me know you were still alive."
And he continues when he sees he's got all my attention.
"For so long, I was told you died in a car accident. I had to move on. But then Sokovia happened. And the Avengers..."
"They tried to save everyone in the city." I cut him off.
"They took my sister away."
"They weren't the ones who took me." I scowl, not fully understanding how he could have ended up with that conclusion. "That was HYDRA."
"If there weren't any enhanced humans, HYDRA wouldn't have tried to recreate them with you."
I can't answer to that because we're surprised by a dark shadow lurking up behind us. The Black Panther approaches us at a slow and steady pace, not wanting to agitate anyone.
