My dad... when I was eight years old, he left my mom—he left us. My dad didn't cheat, there was no other woman, he just... left. Kasi hindi na niya mahal si mommy. Gano'n kadali na iniwan niya kami dahil lang wala nang pagmamahal. Gano'n ka-selfish.

So, I grew up believing that a person outgrows love. That one can love you but only to the extent of their whims. Kapag tapos na sila sa'yo, they can easily dispose you na parang hindi ka nila minahal.
