Four years ago my ability awoke.

It was scary and nearly killed my best friend,so I had to move quickly with my Mom and Dad.
I was sad at the time,but my friend reassured me that she'll keep in contact.

In a world where people are automatically ranked on their power,I was always weak.
I didn't have a super useful ability,It was to-

Talking is heard in the other room,directed at you.

Oh Okay,I got it Mom!
I'll get to school in time!

(Y/n) turned off his video recorder with an overconfident smirk on his face.He rushed out of his room,hugging his mom,and taking a Poptart as he left his house.

He started to jog with his bag over his shoulder.
He saw the normal people,as always.
The older woman who sold bread,who was named Mary.
The young woman who wore a secretary outfit,who was named Lilith.
The older man who walked his dogs everyday,who was named Franklin.
The young boy who watched anime but exercised since he was a cripple,he was named Soji.

(Y/n) waved at them,like normally,before making his way to his school.
He finally arrived,at

Wellston Private High School

He always was shocked at how high his grades were in order to get into such a great school.
He hurried in to realize that he was late.

He got into class with sweat running down his forehead,being multiple stories up wasn't easy to run to.

He sat down and allowed his heart to start slowing down.After about 10 minutes of listening to boring math equations,(Y/n) wanted to just leave the class.

He didn't use to like the thought of skipping but he knew of at least one of his greatest friends skipping,and she still did wonderfully.His class was doing individual work anyways,So he got up and successfully walked out of the classroom.

His first goal was to get some Boba Tea,So he walked out of the school and saw John,a guy with a lot of heart but no ability,being held up by Gavin,a jerk with a simple enhancing ability.

"Hey is this about earlier?" John spoke smugly with both of his hands up."I thought that we were over that already.Come on,let's forget about it and make up." John was trying to do something,but (Y/n) couldn't pick it out.
"YOU THREW ME OUT THE WINDOW!!"Gavin yelled,completely blinded by rage."Yeah,well you broke my arm.So let's just call it even." John was lightly sweating,but it didn't show in how he was acting.

Gavin became agrivated and scowled at John before reeling back his fist.
"SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!"Gavin roared before launching his fist at John's face.
John focused and lost his smug appearance as he guarded his face with his cast-wearing arm.

Gavin's fist was abruptly stopped by his own fear.He looked up to see Seraphina,a magenta-haired girl who had a lotta personality with low patience,holding (Y/n) by the back of his collar looking at him.
(Y/n) was slumping to the ground,but Seraphina held him up without trouble.
Seraphina dropped (Y/n) and gave him a look of annoyance before paying her full attention to Gavin.
John gave Gavin a sly smirk and a thumbs up,giving him a small "Suck it!"

"Seraphina?!"Gavin yelled out as (Y/n)  looked up to Seraphina.She had an overwhelming presence that (Y/n) had to respect.

Gavin still held onto John's shirt,but his attention was given to Seraphina.
"Uh....."Gavin was at a loss for words due to the presence of the girl.His nervousness as starting to show.

Seraphian glared into his eyes,responding.
"Stand down."She had a suffocating aura,(Y/n) would never stand in the same ballpark as someone like her,and he understood that.
Gavin forced a half-hearted smile on his face.Seraphina just blandly looked at him.
"Am I supposed to be scared?"
Gavin had his ability activated,which gave him stronger offense and speed,but made his skin a dark rock-ish color.He spoke all "tall" and "proud," but was shaking.He completely moved John and gave Seraphina his full attention.
His collar to his uniform as also flipped up,solidifying his position as a bully.

"So I've heard rumors about you....but how strong could you possibly be if you hang out with a weakling like this all day?"
John and (Y/n) both held expressions of confusion on their faces.
For a split second,they both thought he was kidding,but they also knew he couldn't have been kidding with the current situation.

His purple eyes held pride up until the moment where a blur hit him in his face.

Gavin's body was slung backwards into the schools barrier.Blood shot out of his mouth and stained his white button-up as his head started to bleed too.He slumped down and could only look up fiercely to Seraphina.

"Don't waste my time."Seraphina cold tone towards Gavin sent a chilling shiver up (Y/n)'s back.

Gavin used the wall to support him as he rose back up.He tried to get a quick punch in on Seraphina while yelling "Go to hell!"
She dodged the attack with a simple sidestep,and knocked him out with a chop to the neck.

John started to quickly approach Seraphina,while (Y/n) was starting to get up and try to sneak away.
Seraphina turned to John and saw (Y/n) trying to sneak away.Her piercing blue eyes showed no signs of disinterest or interest in (Y/n).

"So where did you want to go?"She asked as her hair swayed in the soft wind."How 'bout a drink?"John questioned as Seraphina began to walk past him,confusing him.

"Don't want a drink?"He asked,trying to properly read the situation."If you pay,but I have to grab him."Seraphina nonchalantly pointed towards (Y/n),who as soon as he heard her say that started to run away.
"AHHH HELP ME SHE'S SCARY!"(Y/n) yelled as he was grabbed and dragged by the collar of his shirt before he could even react.

Seraphina happily walked in front of John as she dragged a flailing (Y/n) against his will to a nearby Boba shop named Woaba Boba.
