Title: So Much for One Spider Person!
-------
"Hey. I need you to stay focused." Spider-Gwen snapped in front of (Y/n)'s eyes.
"Oh y-yeah." The teen focused on the city's seemingly invincible hero. "What's our plan?" He asked, his eyes flickering between the heroine and the brightly lit city. "Well, I'm gonna train your sorry self into something useable." She brutally said suddenly, catching (Y/n)'s full attention.
"Wait... What exactly do you mean?" He nervously chuckled as Spider-Gwen ominously slithered into the darkness. (Y/n) looked around for the hero in the darkness, but saw nothing.
(Y/n) swallowed down his built up saliva, right before he was suddenly kicked in the back. He landed dangerously close to the edge of the building, and quickly scurried backwards. "What? Are you scared of heights of something?" Spider-Gwen asked, getting a quick nod from (Y/n).
"Well... That's a problem." Spider-Gwen spoke almost silently. "Huh? Why? I'm not gonna be on the front lines or anything, right?" (Y/n) asked, his nervousness overflowing.
"Well... How should I break it to you...?" She sharply took in some air and pointed her pushed together hands at (Y/n). "I think you have abilities like me."
(Y/n) just had to take in the information with some skepticism in his mind. "H-how? Why? When? How do you know? Like, that doesn't even make sense. I'm almost 100% positive that those words make zero sense! I- Oh... It was probably the spider that bit me as I was on my way over here..." (Y/n) sighed.
"Wait, you got bit by a spider, but didn't tell the girl that got bit by a spider and is known as Spider-Gwen, a hero basically known for having to do with spiders?" Spider-Gwen asked (Y/n). "Well I'm sorry Princess. I don't have any normal way to get in contact with the one and only Spider-Gwen!" He yelled, getting Spider-Gwen to quickly pull off her mask.
"Oh...my..." (Y/n) was stunned, he had to bite his lip in order to not say anything stupid. "She's hot... and cool... and... Oh God I think I just fell in love with her..." (Y/n) looked in silence for far too long. "Hey, don't get all surprised about me being in the MJs." (Y/n) took a moment to think before being smacked by another relevation. "Oh y-yeah! I'm super surprised about that..." (Y/n) mentally linked the super heroine with the the girl named Gwen in band with the MJs.
"Gwen... Spider-Gwen... I... I guess that makes sense." (Y/n) realized the connection. "Yeah, I'm confused as to why more people don't ask me why my name is the same name used for a hero." She shrugged. "But anyways! I need you to focus!" She smacked (Y/n) on his head, to which he replied with a sheepish grin.
"Well, what's gonna happen now?" (Y/n) asked, now knowing his Spider-like abilities.
"Firstly, let's see if you can use your hands and feet to stick." She gestured to the wall near the building.
(Y/n) nervously walked towards it and put his hand on the wall, but it came off like normal.
"Oh god... you really don't just naturally stick to things?" Gwen stood in awe, see of his hard it was gonna be to train.
"Um... No." (Y/n) chuckled nervously, gaining a sigh from Gwen.
-------
Over the next few days, which was a longer time than anyone truly expected, Gwen trained (Y/n).
She hung out with him in school, and took up all his time after school. He hasn't been able to write anything, and be had no actual time for himself.
"Today is finally the day." Gwen patted (Y/n) on the back, smiling. The gap in her teeth had become very cute to (Y/n) over the time they'd been together.
"But... Will I be okay?" He asked, chuckling nervously at a few small time thugs who were trying to get into a store.
"Hmm, I dunno. There's crime on the other side of the city so... you're on your own." Gwen smiled coyly at (Y/n).
