"So of all the things in the world, you decided to throw him out the window?" (Y/n) asked John as he and Seraphina were listening to how John got into his bad situation with Gavin.

"Well, it's not like I had-" You and Seraphina started cracking up as John's situation became funnier and funnier.

"Hey! It's not funny! I could've been killed!" John pleaded to his friends.

"That's what you always say." Seraphina responded, still smilling behind her hand.

"Yet here you are, still in one piece." John looked over to (Y/n) who was completely understanding of John.

"I get where he's coming from, it's scary no matter how good you are."
(Y/n) looked at the magenta-haired woman.

"But living on the edge seems like so much fun!" Seraphina replied.

(Y/n) looked down, as did John. "Some piece and quiet.....That's the final goal." (Y/n) responded to Seraphina's excitement.

John set his Boba down as he stayed looking towards the black and white tiled floor.

"Right now, every little fight turns into a full out brawl. I can't do anything without fearing my life!"
John starts raising his voice while still staying quiet.

"What's wrong with talking things over with one another?" (Y/n) asked Seraphina.

"Because it's a waste of time. There's no point in fighting with a weakling." Seraphina said as she started sounding like her position as the Queen in the school.

"Because you can overpower him? The stronger person isn't always right, you know! Using force to back up a half-assed argument is pathetic." (Y/n) spoke before even thinking, as he normally tended to.

Seraphina took a moment before speaking to (Y/n), "What are you implying?" Seraphina asked as she stared (Y/n) deep in his eyes, but he didn't falter, he stood by his words.........but he did understand his major error.

"You know I didn't mean you, just stereotypical high-tiers." (Y/n) tried to clear up the situation, but Seraphina just looked the other direction.

Sera was born strong.....
She doesn't understand what people like me and John have to go through everyday.

"EMBER has been leaving a trail of bodies, and the most recent is in Lovun." The news on the TV hit the three's ears. "In an alley, near the intersection of Rokel and Acres Street." All three started to pay attention to the news. "Investigators have identified the body as a well known vigilante, 'X-Static.' No further information has been released. The victim's body was covered in second degree burns wounds and stab wounds. And like all other victims, there is a very prevalent logo marked on the corpse." The three teens locked eyes and dared not to speak.

"Lovun? That's the next town over! Could EMBER be heading here?!" Someone sitting a table away from you talked loudly.

"Puh! X-Static...... How useless!" Someone who sounded annoying also spoke.

"Hm...." Seraphina's beautiful voice was locked behind the barrier of her lips.

"Yet another self-proclaimed hero falls......People should learn to mind their own business, especially if they don't have the strength to back it up." Seraphina said truthfully, but rudely.

"He was just trying to protect us...." John said as he looked up at Seraphina.

"Do you feel safer..... now that he's dead?" Seraphina asked brutally as neither John or (Y/n) could rebuttal.

The group eventually went their separate ways with a bad taste in all of their mouths.

(Y/n) went to sleep at his house, because he hated the idea of going to the dorms.

He was woken up with the ring of his phone in his ears. He opened his eyes and picked up his phone and saw that it was Seraphina.
