The mind has a voice to speak, give an opinion, and protest against a contrasting idea.
Yet, the heart only has sounds, to shows its emotions, hoping that someone would hear its cries, it's suffering. And sometimes, the heart speaks with tears from the windows of the soul, flowing across the rosy cheeks. Causing pain in the chest, indicating that it's aching in sorrow and awful grief. Just like how mother nature works. After the sound of loud rumbling thunder and brightly flash of lightning, rains will slowly fall onto the earth.
Some were very subtle about their feeling. They tucked their emotions hidden away from the eyes of others and straighten the back, to show that they're strong and resilient. They walked with confidence in their steps but eventually that strong stern steps fade away.
Slowly but surely, it will turn into a soft sob and sad cries.
Because you can't run from emotions. No matter how hard you tried, they'll come around.
They always do.

"Amphetamine?!" She yells but I quickly pull her into my room. The hallway was empty but I afraid that someone would catch what we're talking about.
"Shh, you want the whole building to hear that?! I didn't call you to make an announcement!" I say as I lock the door and her attention seems to fall back to the figure that is sleeping on the bed.
"How long has he been sleeping?"
"Uh- basically two days. He woke up several times to go to the bathroom and eat but that's it." Her eyes show nothing but concern and worries over the person that is lying on the bed right now.
"Did he have any nightmares?"
"Yeah, now that you said that. He always had this nightmare like he's afraid someone will find him like he's hiding...? I don't know." I say with an unconvincing tone, unsure what he was dreaming about.
She turns around to face me. "If he's sleeping on your bed, where did you sleep?"
"On the floor. He insists that I can sleep in his room but I don't think that's a good idea. So I told him to stay in my room until he gets better, at least."
"What about class? And, didn't he's the secretary?" She squints her eyes.
"Uh, I told that he's on emergency leave because of family's business. And... I did all of his works for the time being."
"We need to do something. We need to detox him!"
"What?!! Do you know how hard it is to detox someone? Especially people like him." I know Adam for a long time now. He's stubborn as a mule.
"We need to. If not, who knows what will happen."
"Even if he agrees, how we gonna do it?"
She opens her mouth to suggest something before...
"Are you guys talking about me?" A raspy crooked voice interrupts our argumentation. Her eyes widen in shock as a deer caught in a headlight.
"Hi, Adam! How are you feeling?" She turns around facing Adam on the bed and her voice suddenly turns into a sweet and soothing tone.
"Um... " He blinks with an emotionless expression and rubs his eyes.
"Adam?"
"Sorry, what?" He raises his voice as if he was startled.
"How are you?" Ellizabeth asks with a more stern and clear voice, making sure that Adam caught what she was saying.
"Sleepy, hungry, my body hurts. What day is it?"
