Beauty and the Beast

One thing Finn and Millie loved the most was staying in their bed together.

What was better than hugging under the woolen blue marine quilt, enjoying that pleasing warmth as the snow was dancing in the light, gently resting upon the ground and the roof of the house?
Sleeping was their favorite thing ever, seriously; they could fall asleep into each other's arms, or talk about their day, kissing silently, or loving each other whenever they could.

The level of comfort she always got being close to Finn was out of human conception. She always felt protected, as the world could burn to ashes outside, but not when she was pillowing her head on his chest and hearing the heart-bit of his soul.

Millie's legs were intertwined with her husband's ones, as her cheek rubbing against him. Finn's palms were splayed on her back, keeping his treasure close, as if he never wanted to let her go, even when he was unconscious.
He needed to feel her always by his side.

It was the 25th of December, a new Christmas together, other memories to collect and to frame into the album of their lives.
And they were so tired! They had wrapped presents til midnight — or better, Finn did, since Millie was still the worst in such manual stuff.

"Look, baby! This one is amazing!" She jumped around satisfied, walking towards Finn with a package in her hands.

"Hey! Stop stepping on my gifts!" He contained a frustrated yell, as she clumsily hit the countless boxes and decorative papers spread on the parquet.

"Oops." She giggled, sitting next to him. "So? How about this? Isn't it cute?"

Millie was so proud of her attempt. Sure, maybe it was a bit ragged and messy, but she had wrapped it with all of the love she had.

He took a fast glance, "Wow brat, I can't believe you still fucking suck in wrapping presents."

Finn whined, legs crossed on the floor of the living room, near the giant decorated Christmas tree.
It was like a blind child decorated it since an explosion of red ribbons, blue glitters and glowing lights infested it like a disease.

Millie's taste was still that questionable, even after all that time.

"Shut uuuup!" She grinned, taking some adhesive tape, "I am doing my best! Now, I have to wrap my favorite one."

"Yeah? Which one?" Finn asked oblivious, concentrated in wrapping another present he got for David.

Could you believe he bought a present for his father-in-law? How things had changed.

With a cheeky smile, Millie crawled on the floor, adhering the tape from the top of his nose to the forehead, "He he he. You."

He raised a brow, smirking satisfied, "I mean, you should unwrap me baby doll, I am at your complete disposition."

"For sure I will. But it's not Christmas yet." She teased him, placing a red ribbon on his black curls.

But she didn't have to provoke him.

"You know what, baby brat? Fuck Christmas traditions and Santa bitch." He removed the tape and got her in his arms and pulled her down to the floor with him, his mouth already stealing silent, long kisses.
