Millie woke up in an unfamiliar room. She thought she must had fallen asleep in the car, because the last time she was awake she swore she was arguing with Finn, crying her heart out; instead, she was laying on an unknown bed - or maybe not?-, in a ivory and golden room, with a nice scent of jasmine in the atmosphere.

She recognized that perfume; it was Finn's. Yes, that was definitely Finn's room. With fatigue, she got up from the bed and she noticed her dress was gone. She was wearing Noah's silly cloudy pajamas and instinctively touched the lock of her hair, the ones that the were gone forever.

Oh yeah, the haircut, she thought.

She slowly walked to the balcony outside, where three people were chatting.

Millie hid behind the window; she saw Gaten, the boyfriend of Lilia, talking animatedly, like he was worried or something.

Caleb was shaking his head in disappointment, drinking a shot of something even though it was just 12 p.m.

Lilia was wiping away her tears, because she apparently she felt bad about something.

Millie knew she had to ask, but, on the other hand, she really didn't want to; for the first time in her life, she didn't want to think. She just wanted to close her eyes and sleep forever, so that she couldn't feel pain again.

Gaten suddenly frowned and stopped talking, because he recognized the figure standing behind the crystal window; Millie was up and Lilia threw her a little smile, even though it was clearly not one of her best ones.

That time, Lilia was broken. And it was Millie's turn to cheer her up.

"Oh, you've woken up!" Gaten said, offering her a seat.

"Yeah. Can somebody tell me why I woke up in his room?" Millie asked while yawning, and rubbing her sleepy eyes.

"Don't you remember?" Gaten asked.

"No?"

"Finn brought you here. I mean, I did. But he said to me to take you to his bedroom; Lilia changed your clothes and you slept here all night." Caleb said.

Millie snorted, "Wait, he did what?"

"Yeah, he did. We don't know why. He had a look on his face that..." Caleb said, almost trembling, "he had these red eyes. He was having one of his crisis last night. He just had to isolate himself from the world."

Millie looked at Caleb; the only thing she was thinking of was...

"Did we... did we sleep together? I mean, side by side?" she asked shyly.

The eyes of the three suddenly froze. Either she had just said a complete bullshit or they were afraid of telling her the truth.

"What the fuck? Of course not! Who would ever touch you wearing that dumb pj's?" Caleb joked, and Lilia slapped him on his shoulder.

"Caleb!"

Millie smiled. She felt stupid just for asking that question.

"Okay, good to know. Well, I think it's the moment for you to talk about that man before I run away for real. And I won't admit lies." Millie said, taking a sit with them around the white table.

The sun was beating down on their bodies, making all of them almost shine. The sky was blue, perfect; but in Millie's heart there were just grey clouds and an hurricane incoming.

"Hey, girl, aren't you a little presumptuous?" the bodyguard said, glaring at her.

"No, Caleb. She needs to know." Gaten wisely said, as always.
