For some odd reason, Sam Carter realized she had to get off Tython and back on Earth. Not to run away, but to find the person who had changed her life from not being a slave. "How can I train him if he trained me when I was a teenager? This is more than a time paradox or whatever one calls it."

Jack walked into the room and saw her contemplating something. He said, "I hope you're thinking of doing something about this? It's getting boring just standing here — doing nothing."

"Yes, I am, love. We need to find my Jedi Master — who trained me as a teenager."

He thought for a moment and said, "I better talk to George. He knows this person better than we do and can get the Air Force to keep an eye out on him — I mean the one in our timeline."

Sam smiled, "Through the Force, I can tell my counterpart is safe from harm, but she's hurting far more than she is telling the others."

Jack sighed, "I thought as much." He paused, "What can I do?"

"I'm not sure." She just looked into his eyes for a moment and spoke again, "I'm more concerned about how this person can train me if I have to train him first. This makes little sense."

He said, "What I understood from Hammond, it wasn't you that trained him, but this counterpart of you." He paused, "sorry, love, but this is being so ass confusing."

She gave him a grin, "If that fun." She paused, "what you're trying to say, he is supposed to train me in that distinct reality."

"Something like that." He gave a lengthy pause, "remember the person you want to communicate with isn't even a Jedi."

"No, he isn't, but he has been using the Force without realizing it."

He looked confused, "You mean he can float things in the air and all that telekinesis stuff?"

Sam got up from the chair she was sitting on and hugged him. She said, "Doing all that with the Force is great and all, but there's so much more, and without this young adult male realizing it, he has been doing so."

"What do you mean?"

"Knowledge is the ultimate source of a Jedi. The Force is a means to enhance all the ancient Jedi Knights. They did not get it at first. After they reached their peak, they introduced the Force to them. True, they didn't have the full effects as the Jedi do today, but all those years, they have grown with it." She paused, "you see, Jack — all the mental enhancements in the one male have been because of his ability to use the Force."

He thought for a moment, "What do you remember of that time with him?"

"Not long after I have stepped foot on Tython, I have remembered everything — including my time with my Master."

Still, confused, "Why are we going to him now? I don't understand."

"I won't directly get involved. It wouldn't help at all." She paused for a moment and asked, "what would you do if I came to you thirty-odd years earlier saying we will meet at a top-secret base in human history and tell you we will end up in a galaxy far, far away?"

He thought for a quick moment and answered, "I would ask you out on a dinner date. After that, I would think you were nuts and call the police."

She laughed, "You wouldn't!"

He smiled, "No, I wouldn't, but I would take you out for dinner."

"Anytime, love."

Temporal perspective refers to how we view time in relation to ourselves. It's not just about the passage of seconds, but how we think and feel about the past, present, and future. This concept becomes truly interesting when we consider its multifaceted nature.
