The next day, Sam was sitting at a table outside eating with her fiancé — Jack O'Neill. He asked, "Pennies for your thoughts, love."

She finally looked at him. She said with no facial expressions, "I have a lot on my mind lately."

He just sat there. Sam sighed and told him what happened in her vision.

"Your Mother Oriana has allowed this to happen. You said she would do something like this."

She gave him an interesting look and said, "With what I have been learning about myself and... now, family, she could have powers as such. I just don't know."

"Surely you didn't get your awesome powers from the air. Either your Father or mother, if not both of them, have something to pass down to you."

She had to agree with him on that one.

"What's the most important thing is... what do you think about this?"

"Jack, I really don't know anymore. Our Daughter came to us in an adult form and by a hologram through the Stargate. Since then, I realize I have another life — now this. What in the hell is going on?"

"I know this. I will marry you. That's all that matters to me."

She gave a warm smile, "Thanks, my love. I can't wait, either. I just hope all this won't get you hurt by all that is going on, now."

He smiled, "Not a scratch on me. I got you to protect me. You're an Empress of the Jedi Knights, after all."

"You better not get out of line either, mister."

"As long as I have you in my arms, feeling your warmth against mine, the rain drumming a gentle rhythm on the window pane, there is no way for me to let go."

"Oh, Jack, In all we have meant to each other despite we would not express it while being officers of the United States Air Force, I wouldn't want you to do that ever."

That night, the universe shrunk to the space they occupied. Their hushed voices, a melody only they could hear, danced in the air. Time, a forgotten concept, dissolved as their eyes held a galaxy of unspoken emotions. In the warmth of his hand clasped in hers, Sam felt a completeness she'd never known. He wasn't beside her yet, but in her heart, she could feel the gentle embrace that promised a future filled with love.

When Sam woke up, she saw Skyma still asleep beside her; the last thing she remembered was sleeping beside the man she loved. She couldn't believe her eyes — Skyma was a five-year-old Twi'lek! "Oh my goodness, I'm here... actually here. What in the hell is going on? Where is Jack?" Sam felt her head spinning in every direction.

As if Skyma could sense her Sister worrying about something, she immediately woke up. "Sammy are you all right?"

Even though she was in a five-year-old body, she said, "Yes, I am. We are together."

Burying her face in her Sister's shoulder, Skyma whispered, "I'll always be here for you, no matter what. Never forget that."

She cradled her Sister's Lekku. "I know Twi'lek. I know, and I love you for it."

Before falling asleep, Skyma said, "I love you, Sammy."

"I love you, Skyma. Go back to sleep; all will be well in the morning."

They fell asleep in each other's arms until the next morning. That morning, it was Skyma who awoke first. Once Sam woke up, she asked, "How did you sleep?"

She smiled, "Wonderful." She saw something different in her Sister and asked, "Are you okay?"

"Ever since I woke up, I felt your mind. You are my Sister, but different."
