Chapter 1

I was walking slowly around town, looking into shop windows, not really buying anything just enjoying the breeze through my wavy brown hair. As I walked into a cafe to buy a drink I noticed a boy a bit younger than me with a round smiling face. He introduced himself to me at the counter saying "Hi, I'm Will. What's your name?" He didn't seem to be a random stalker so I replied with a smile "Lily-Rose, but everyone just calls me Lily." We chatted aimlessly like that for a few minutes until he asked if I wanted to hang out. I replied yes, I liked Will even if he was a bit younger. A few minutes later he asked "So Lily... What are you doing in Plymouth?" I said: "I'm about to start studying sports physiotherapy at the university." He looked interested and we spoke for a few minutes about it until I gestured for us to sit down on the nearest park bench.

A moment later he awkwardly said: "Uhh Lily, can I just say I hope you didn't think I was being a stalker just randomly talking to you in the cafe?"

"No of course not! If I thought you were I wouldn't have replied!" I said with a smile. "Well I just wanted to say that I don't fancy you or anything, but I really like you." He finished abruptly. I was a bit shocked but pleased at that so I replied "Me neither don't worry! But we can be good friends!" "Absolutely" he replied with a smile.
