Chapter 11

I grabbed my bag and headed into the reception to see Tom waiting for me by the main desk I ran over and he ran towards me and hugged me I looked over to see Will too, just coming out the doors. He hadn't noticed so I sneaked put my hands over his eyes and trilled "Guess who?" He jumped a bit but then put on a silly expression saying "Omg Lily-Rose Harrison!?" I hugged the back of him saying "Of course silly! You coming diving with us?" He nodded and I squealed with excitement. Tom came over again and meeting my eyes said "How was your day?" Even just that simple little question made my heart flutter but I replied before I had time to over think my answer "Good! I love the course just a boring lecture..." He smiled and said "Well I'm going to make your day Miss Lily!" And striking a superhero pose said "To the dry area!" I laughed and walked with him and Will already having fun.

Tom and Will taught me roughly how to also add twists to my dive and after showing Tom I remembered the dives from last time we made our way to the pool area firstly up to the 3m where I did my dives Tom and Will gave me improvements and then Tom said "Do you want to check out the higher boards? Again only if you want to!" I just rolled my eyes grinning and started climbing up, we got up to the 7.5m and before I could over think or get too nervous I just jumped, braced my arms and sailed through the air in free fall, loving every second. Tom watched and as I broke the surface of the water I saw his stern face. My face immediately dropped "What did I do wrong?" I said worried for rejection or his anger, I couldn't see Will anywhere to help me... What felt like minutes passed until his face broke and he grinned saying "Only you ACED it Lil!!" And he hugged me again, I loved his hugs; my head seemed to fit just in the hollow of his neck and his head bent down to rest against my shoulder as my body moulded to his... This felt right.

This was it... I was going to try my first dive off the 10m, unfortunately this time I hadn't just gone for it; I'd waited and now I was scared. Will was on poolside about to film and Tom was up in the board next to me briefing me on a few last issues. He finished and said "Go on my little diver." And stroked my hair, with that I felt ready and took a deep breath thought "Damn the consequences!" and jumped. I felt the cold water hit my tight arms and almost immediately after I was sucked through, eager to see how I did I broke the surface of the water to hear Will cheering and just in time to see Tom throw himself off the board too. I watched as he faultlessly twisted and executed his rip entry. I felt the ripple of the water as he hit it and soon after I felt someone tickle my feet then stop, resurface and hug me tightly. "I KNEW IT!" he shouted and I just laughed and said "I have a good teacher though..." He smiled and said "Hmm who could that be" with a wink and helped me out. Will then hugged me and showed me the video but then excused himself to "go do something..." I found it odd but didn't say anything. I turned back to face Tom a now permanent smile plastered on my face but he looked in two minds about something. Suddenly as he did make up his mind he reached for my hand then placed his on the back of my head and lower back and moved my head towards his slowly and I felt his warm lips touch mine
