At that moment Debbie came back through the kitchen spotted us at the table and said "Oh Tom! Good you're back, how was training?" And to proudly to me "Tom's a diver!" "I know" I replied "I saw him in this summers Olympics, it was incredible!" Tom looked a bit surprised "You mean you knew who I was?" He said to me. "Oh yes I love diving" I said with a grin, he looked pleased I did. "Well you two why don't you go get the others, I told Will to go get Ben but that was ages ago so I don't know where they've got to!" I nodded and Tom said "Come on Lily I'll show you around." We walked out the kitchen and into the hall again and I followed Tom up the stairs, he turned to me and said "I bet you they've got distracted playing xbox" and winked my heart gave a little flutter and I found it hard to reply so instead I just shot a grin. As we got closer to the to we heard shouts and we looked around the door of what I assumed was Will's room to see a competitive game of FIFA going on. Tom gave a chuckle and said "1, who said you could play in my room," it was his room I thought... "2, dinners ready and 3, you suck at FIFA and keeping your guest entertained Will!" He chuckled in afterthought as Ben paused it came over to me and said "Hey I'm Ben, if you hadn't already guessed..." I laughed and told him my name as Will came over, gave me a high five and said "So you met Tom then?" I play slapped his arm and said "Well duh?! And you kept that quiet" whilst laughing. "Sorry, I just didn't want you to fan girl or anything..." He said this apologetically "Will seriously it's fine! I'm not mad, why would I be? I love diving!" "Well that's ok then!" He sighed with relief. I turned to see Tom looking at me smiling but he soon looked away when I made eye contact...odd? "Well dinner time then." He said then gestured us downstairs before turning his light off. I soon heard him following downstairs and we walked into the kitchen to hear Debbie say laughing "I began to think you'd all killed each other! Now Lily dear," she continued "your here next to Will and opposite Tom." "Thank you," I said "It look delicious by the way" gesturing towards the stir fry. "Thank you dear, right now how much do you want?"

Throughout the meal I chatted with the Daleys, we got on well much the same as I did with Will and I somehow felt part of their family and for the first time since coming to Plymouth from home felt welcome and comfortable. They were all very funny and easily laughed at each other and made hilarious jokes. Soon we had finished and Ben suggested we watched a film, Debbie said she'd do the tidying up and then do work so it was just us kids. We all trooped into the sitting room, Ben took the armchair and Will, Tom and I took the sofa. For a few minutes we debated what to watch and then settled on Sherlock Holmes, I was excited and settled down to watch it, comfortable between the warmth of the boys. Shortly I felt a movement and saw Tom's arm leave his lap and drape around the back of the sofa, roughly in line with my head, I looked at him through the gloom and he smiled at me, I smiled and turned my head back slightly giddy but enjoying myself immensely. A few seconds later I heard a chuckle and turned to see Will giving Tom a cheeky look to which Tom just rolled his eyes and re-focused on the film.

By the end of the film I had burrowed further into the sofa and Tom and Will and I both had our legs draped over each other lazily. Debbie had joined us for the last few minutes and had perched on Bens armchair. When the credits had stopped rolling and Ben had flicked the lights back on a massive yawn escaped me and glancing at my watch I saw it was 2:30am. I got up hurriedly with another yawn saying "Oh I must get back I didn't realise it was this late!" Everyone look at me and Debbie said "Lily darling I can't let you drive home this tired! You can stay here tonight." After them all assuring them it was ok I then said thank you and said I'd just sleep on the sofa. They looked at me shocked
