Chapter 23

It was 5:00 a.m. in the morning, and another 'Sound of the night' is about to happen. The oldest of them all, Seokjin, was the first one to rise. He couldn't get over his dream.

Seokjin's dream

One, two, three, four, five... why are there only five of them sitting at the sofa?

"Guys, where's Jimin?"

"We... we don't know, hyung. We don't know," Namjoon replied. There was sadness in his voice, which perplexed Jin. Nevertheless, he ignored it. Jin sat beside Taehyung, who was peacefully eating ramen.

Soon, Jin felt a sharp, excruciating headache, making him wince in pain. He glanced at his remaining brothers, and saw their eyes change color.

Jungkook- Brownish gold
Taehyung- Royal blue
Namjoon- Light yellow
Hoseok- Scarlet red
Yoongi- Icy blue

Jin rushed to the bathroom. There, he saw his eye color. Dark green. Jin squinted his eyes, as he saw something strange. Him and his brothers, including Jimin, were in Arcania. The weather there was rainy. Jin was confused at this scene.

Then, he suddenly blacked out. He opened his eyes, and saw Buldarae. And that's when everything faded. He woke up.

End of Jin's dream

Jin stood up from his bed, and decided to shrug that dream off his mind. It was a confusing dream. Little did he know, it meant something.

He's currently in the bathroom, showering. The cold water collided with his skin. That's when he remembered...

SHOOT! Tonight is the 'Sound of the night?' We still have to practice!

He hurriedly finished his refreshing shower, and went to his room. As he was dressing up, he heard the familiar drizzling of water.

He emerged from his room after a good 5 minutes. At the sofa, he spotted his brothers sitting. Their eyes were barely open. That's when he noticed...

Where's Jimin? Is this what my dream meant?

As if on cue, Jimin emerged from the shower. Jin turned his head at the direction, and heaved a sigh of relief.

Jungkook went to the bathroom after Jimin. Hoseok used the other bathroom. For a while, all of them forgot that there are two bathrooms.

After their morning preparations... Let's check on Yoongi first.

Yoongi's POV

It was another day at work. People enter the building, and I would have to check their bags and IDs, it's starting to get boring.

I noticed that Joy and Wendy aren't here yet. They're late, again. That's the third time this month.

"Late, again," I said as soon as I saw the girls running towards me. They gave me a sheepish smile. They soon entered the building, leaving me all alone to guard this building, again.

Yay, boredom for life.

Just as I said that in my mind, something interesting happened. A man, who seems to be running away from something, stopped in front of the building. His breath was ragged. A gun was being held by his right hand, while his left hand is holding a bag.

Erm... am I watching an action scene live? COOL!

Author's POV

Yoongi leaned at the wall behind his seat. But, something he didn't expect happened. The man ran towards him and pointed the gun at him.

"Say a word to others, and you're dead," the man threatened. Yoongi raised an eyebrow in disbelief.

He has the audicity to threaten a super? Wait... supers are nothing but fantasy here in the human realm. How could I forget?

"A word," Yoongi replied, making the man confused.

You know what, let's end it.

The man was dumb for pointing the gun too near towards Yoongi. Yoongi redirected the gun's point, so that if ever the man shoots, the bullet wouldn't hit him. Then, he elbowed the man's forearm, making him let go of the gun. Yoongi kicked his shin, making him drop to his knees. Then, he kicked the man in the face, really hard. His nose started bleeding. Yoongi acted fast, and grabbed the man's hair. And... he faced the other side, and flipped the man over his (Yoongi) shoulder. The man howled in pain as his back collided with the hard floor. Yoongi grabbed the gun, and pointed it at the man.

"First thing you should know about me... Never threaten me when you can't even back it up," Yoongi spat out these words. His dark and intimadating face and aura were matching each word, making the man mentally want to crawl back to his mother's womb, and live there for the rest of his life. He never knew that a supposed-to-be victim can be this scary.

Two police officers arrived, and saw the position both men are in. Yoongi gave them the gun, and the police officers cuffed the man. They took him to their automobile, and thanked Yoongi for helping them arrest the man.

After the mini incident, it was yet another boring shift for Yoongi.

A few hours later...

It was already 6:00 in the evening. Yoongi's shift has finally come to an end. Yehey for him! Actually, not really. He still have to rehearse with his brothers.

He came home, and was greeted by his only hyung, sitting at the sofa, munching on some kimchi they bought. You know, it's good that the 'sound of the night' event starts at 8:00, so, they still have time to rehearse. Jin called the rest of his brothers to the sala. They plugged the USB at their tv, and started singing their songs. After a good 20 minutes of practicing, they rested for a few minutes. The boys went outside, and headed to the gym nearby. It was free, and fully functional. They dunno why that was free, but they were thankful anyway. The owner probably wanted to help some people stay fit without having to enroll for some membership and stuffs like that. Good for them.

They played the songs they rehearsed earlier. That, is where they practice their dance moves.

After 30 minutes, they came home, panting from the dance practice. They showered, and got ready for the event that would happen tonight.
