Chapter 27

The next day (Saturday)
Author's POV

The next day finally arrived. The girls already went home, leaving the boys alone in their huge house. They comforted their sad brother. But, Yoongi kept his room locked. The others didn't bother to check on him, because he's usually like that. But, Jungkook sensed something. He's a bit fast to catch up. Namjoon might have the highest IQ, but Jungkook seems to have the highest EQ.

Jungkook took a plate piled with foods, and went to his hyung's room. He doesn't care whether he gets hurt for disturbing his sleep. He goes to the gym, so he's pretty confident that he can defend himself.

As expected, the door was locked. Good thing they all have extra keys that can open their bedroom doors. Jungkook grabbed it from his room, since that's where they hide those extra keys, and used it to open Yoongi's door.

(Let me tell you their room positions:
Yoongi and Jin's rooms: The farthest rooms from the sala
Namjoon and Taehyung's rooms: The second farthest rooms from the sala
Jimim and Jungkook's rooms: The third farthest rooms from the sala
Hoseok's room and the kitchen: The nearest rooms from the sala
One bathroom is located behind the dining table, which is in the sala.
The other one is located at the beside (center, since they occupy both east and west of the walls) of Jin and Yoongi's rooms. Hope this helped.)

After opening the locked door, Jungkook was immediately greeted by a lying Yoongi. His eyes were closed, and his lips were forming a frown. Jungkook silently closed the door, put the plate on Yoongi's desk, and gently tapped the older one.

Yoongi reacted quickly. He sat up, startling the maknae. Then, he opened his eyes that were closed minutes ago. He ate the food that was on his desk, while the younger one was still looking at him with worry.

"Yes, I'm ok. It's just that... it's heart breaking to know that the first girl you've ever liked doesn't return the feelings. Don't worry, in just a few days, I'll be fine. Worry about Jimin more. That boy has been hoping for a chance with Chae," Yoongi blurted out, sensing the worried look his brother was giving him. Jungkook could only sigh, he can't relate that much... joke. He actually can. He had it worse.

Flashback..

When he was still a 2nd year middle-school student, a girl captivated him. He chose to gather every single courage he has on his body, and confessed to her. She returned the feelings, but they weren't dating. They wanted to know each other better first before dating. When summer break came, Jungkook saw her making out (Please just censor it. I tried to be kid-friendly) with a guy, who was undeniably hotter than him (Puberty hasn't hit him here yet.)

The two finally stopped since they sensed another person's presence. They looked beside them, and there, Jungkook was standing, completely dumbfounded.

They both laughed, and the girl told Jungkook the truth, "It was just a dare by him. You might be a prince, but let's be honest, he's hotter and stronger than you. You don't even have your powers."

Jungkook fled, still shocked that he fell for a low-class girl like her. All the respect he had for her vanished like a bubble. That day, he never liked anyone in a romantic way. This also might be the reason why he's still in denial with his feeling for Lisa.

Honestly, the girl was veryyyyy wrong. The boy's power is only invisibility, which was nothing compared to an elemental power. And.... puberty hit Jungkook like an airplane. So... sucks to be her. Ome more thing, Jungkook's brothers doesn't know about this incident. He was afraid that it would become bigger, which he would like to avoid.

Flashback ends...

Yoongi looked at Jungkook, and flashed him a smile, assuring him that he would be ok in no time. Jungkook sighed and left the room. He smiled as he got the result he wanted. His next target was Jimin.
