Chapter 28

The leader of the group walked towards Jimin. He... punched him in the face. Jisoo and Lisa were both shocked, because they don't even know why he punched Jimin. Despite that, Jimin's face remained stoic. The man faced Jisoo, and asked her the question.

"Where are the keys?"

Jisoo was shocked to know that this man right here knows that they have the keys, while Lisa, she's still confused. Jisoo remained quiet. The man, getting bored, decided to walk towards Lisa, and did something that would anger Jimin and Jisoo. He put his hand onto Lisa's neck, and started gripping it. It became tighter each second. Lisa is having a hard time breathing. She tried her best to inhale as much oxygen as she can, but the grip on her neck was getting tighter. She knows that after a minute, she would be out of this world.

Jimin was shouting for the man to stop, while Jisoo was crying and begging for him to let her go. Jisoo knows that those keys are important, considering the fact that the supers and these creatures are looking for it. She had no choice, but to give hers away. Lisa was slowly drufting out of consciouness.

"Stop! Please! I'll tell you where my key is located!"

The man smirked, and let go of Lisa's neck, causing her to cough and inhale loads of oxygen until her breathibg is normal again.

The man went nearer to Jisoo, and asked her, "Where are they?"

"M-my key is.... in the secret box that looks like a book. It's on the second... second row of my bookshelf in my room."

"Hmmm. Interesting. Where are the other keys?"

"I, I don't know."

The man, satisfied with the answer Jisoo has given, went to Jimin, assuming that he knows where the other keys are. Jimin continued glaring at him. If looks could kill, the man would be dead and buried 100 feet into the ground.

"Now, Lisa is your name, right?" The man asked Lisa as he looked at her, while standing in front of Jimin.

"Where is your key, Lisa? I know you have it."

Lisa, who was still perplexed, just stared at him. That's when she remembered the last thing her father gave her.

Flashback~~~

"Lili, my sunshine, please protect this at all cost."

Lisa's father, who was lying on the ground just outside their house, grabbed a beautuful yet mysterious looking key from his pocket and handed it to his daughter, who was sitting beside him.

"Dad, please, don't leave me! The ambulance is near! Please hold on!"

"Lili, get this key first."

Lisa nodded, and grabbed the key from her father. She put it unto her jacket's pocket.

"Promise me that you won't give that to anyone. Promise me that you won't tell anyone about it. Don't worry, your friends, Jisoo, Chae, and Jennie already know about that. One last thing.... promise me that you will protect that."

"Y-yes dad. Please, don't leave me... please!"

Her father gave her a warm smile, before his vision faded. It was the last smile he gave her. Lisa shook her father's shoulder. She started crying more once she felt his nose. It was not inhaling nor exhaling air anymore. She cried, as she hugged her father's body closer to her. She kissed his forehead, and continued crying. Her father, whom she loved the most, died right in front of their house. And she was able to witness him taking his last breath.

End of Flashbackk~~~

Lisa's expression darkened. Tears escaped from her eyes. She knows that he's referring to the keys. The keys that their dads gave them. Who on Earth would be able to make such a mysterious looking key?
