Author's POV
It was finally Wednesday, meaning, library day for both Joy and Namjoon. Let's just have a timeskip, since nothing is worth seeing at their jobs.
Timeskip to 6:00 p.m.
Namjoon is currently standimg at the tall building. He went in, and waited at the lobby for his library partner. Minutes had passed, and Namjoon saw Joy, walking towards him.
Erm... is she always this hot– Bang Namjoon, contain thy composure.
He cleared his throat, and stood up from his seat. They walked outside the building, and went to the library nearby. The library was actually pretty fancy. It was a book haven for bookworms. Of course, you would need to pay before you can read books there. But trust me, the payment is pretty cheap. You can buy their books, or just borrow them. Basically, it's like your school library, except the buying-the-book part.
They paid the required amount, and went to their favorite spot: a table near the garden with two seats. (yes, the library has a backdoor garden.)
They grabbed the books they like, and sat down. Joy, who was so caught up in the book she's reading, failed to notice Namjoon who was staring at her for quite a while now.
Namjoon doesn't know when it started, but he's sure that he has a crush on her. His heart is pretty unpredictable sometimes. Maybe the teasings that his brothers would give him eventually worked. Maybe... he really fell for her. He shrugged those thoughts off, and continued reading the book he was holding. Soon, he got hooked on it too, to the point that he didn't notice Joy whispering his name. Can you blame him though? He was reading a murder mystery.
"JOON!" Joy whisper-yelled, making Namjoon flinch. He asked her what was wrong. She pointed at her watch. It was already 7:41 p.m. Time sure flies by too quickly. Namjoon sighed, and closed his book. They both went to the counter, and borrowed the book that they are holding. The man gave them receipts on when the book was borrowed, which is today, and when they would need to return the book.
They exited the library. Joy dragged Namjoon to a restaurant nearby. As they entered, the space-themed interior greeted them. Of course, they took a seat.
They ordered the foods they like. And... the waiter told them something... interesting.
"Sir and Ma'am, would you like to order a couple's deal? You would get 2 truffle soups, 2 large pastas of your choice, a pitcher of juice, and 2 sushi and sashimi plates. All for 72 dollars."
Joy's eyes widened at the deal. She glanced at Namjoon, who seems to be in a deep thought... but, he was smiling. His dimple was showing, and his lips forms a cute smile. Joy mentally smiled at the sight. Yes, she too, has a crush on him. But, she's good at hiding her feelings. Even her girl friends don't know about it. She glanced back to the waiter.
"Yes... we would like the couple's deal."
Namjoon, hearing the word couple coming from Joy, snapped his head to her.
"Okie dokie then. What's the pastas and juice?"
Joy looked at Namjoon, who was staring at her. Receiving the signal, Namjoon told her the pasta choice he would like to order.
"One carbonara and one pesto please. As for the juice, I think strawberry lime juice would be good."
The waiter repeated the orders. Before leaving, he said something that made both Namjoon and Joy choke. Joy choked on literally nothing, while Namjoon choked on his water.
"You two make a cute couple. Stay strong, hope your relationship lasts."
Namjoon coughed and grabbed his handkerchief from his pocket. He blushed furiously as the thought of him and Joy being on a date together.
"I... I guess you could say that we're on a date today," Joy stated, making Namjoon blush even harder. Good thing that the restaurant has dim lights instead of the common bright lights. Little did he know, Joy wanted to be on a date with him for as long as she can remember. I mean, that's what we always dream of when we have crushes, right?
Namjoon excused himself and went to the bathroom, leaving Joy alone at their seat. She took that opportunity, and squealed as quietly as she can. Giddiness was filling up her heart.
Soon, Namjoon returned. His face looks normal, again.
A few minutes later...
"You know, we should do another sleepover," Joy suggested. Namjoon couldn't agree more. They had fun the last time they went on a sleepover. So why not do it again?
They ate their foods. They really looked like a couple. Why? Well, they are literally feeding each other at times. These oblivious lovebirds failed to notice that they're legit acting like a soon-to-be-married couple.
After a few minutes, it was time to pay. Namjoon, being the gentleman that he is, decided to pay for the bill. Joy wanted to split the check, but Namjoon insisted. Joy, who just experienced a free trial of Namjoon being her boyfriend, smiled at how gentle he is. It made her like him more.
They exited the restaurant. They used the overpass nearby to cross the road. As they reached the floor, Joy tripped. She's clumsy. She tripped on literally nothing. But hey, I also experience that. She almost fell dow the stairs, good thing Namjoon was there to catch her. He grabbed her waist to prevent her from falling. They blushed as they realized what their current position is. Joy stood straight, and Namjoon withdrew his hand from his waist. They continued walking, and descended downstairs. Both of their minds are still picturing the scene before.
I guess you could say that Namjoon's brothers and Joy's best girl friends were right after all. Feelings might develop between them two.
That's it for this chapter. Next ship would be Taennie. I told you I'd give you the ships' interactions. I guess this book would take longer.... what am I doing with my life? To be continued....
Please bear with me, the action will begin soon, I can assure you.
Sorry for any mistakes. I'm trying my best to edit them.
God loves you all!
