(Ok, so, I decided to write a chapter dedicated to the history of the humans and supers and how the supers got divided. Enjoy.)
There once was a beautiful, young maiden, hanging by the opening of an enormous cave. The beautiful sunset sky added to the pleasurable scene the lady is witnessing. Taking whiffs of fresh air, the lady heaved a sigh. It has been a long day of conjuring portals wherever she goes. Sometimes, she feels used. It's a preposterous assumption, she admits. But... won't you feel the same when wherever you go, there has to be atleast five people who would ask you to open a portal to insert-a-location-here? That is annoying and tiring.
She never really explored the cave, which explains the wonderful idea she has in mind.
"I wonder what this cave has to offer."
Following her curiousity, she stood up, stretching her arms. She reached for a match, and lit the lamp she brought somewhere along the plot. Exploring the dark cave, she let herself wander inside. So far, nothing interesting has happened. That all changed when she saw a faint, colorful glow. Finally, after minutes of walking, she managed to find something intriguing. Humming a song, she carefully followed the glow. Each step, the faint light started getting brighter and brighter until, it finally reached its full brightness. Looking up, her breath hitched. The cave, is actually abundant in crystals. The crystals are surprisingly organized rather than it being a mess of colorful rocks.
There are 7 particular colors these crystals have. Light blue, royal blue, yellow, orange, golden brown, dark green, and white.
A small piece of dark green colored crystal lay near her. Funnily enough, she felt as if it was linked to some kind of a portal. Following her instincts, she picked it up, and closed her eyes while holding it tightly. She felt warmth on her hand. Gently opening her eyes, a portal appeared. She stepped in, amazed at this new world. She is confused by the fact that these new creatures speak the same language as her. Nevertheless, she shrugged it off. It was a world similar to hers, yet different in many ways. That is how a super discovered Earth.
(A.N: You might be thinking, what is Arcania's language back then? Like I said, it's Korean. Yes, confusing, but even I don't know how to explain it. So please, don't think too much about it.)
A friendship formed between the humans and the supers. To be more specific, a friendship formed between the supers and Koreans. The friendship between the two races (or species. I don't really know what to call it.) lasted for approximately 50 years.
Arcanians didn't bother revealing themselves to the rest of the world, figuring that it's useless whatsoever. So, their friendship only stayed within South Korea.
Now, I'm gonna tell you how it all ended.
Believe it or not, there are a group of supers who created a secret organization called Mylophenia. Their goal? To get the keys and possess its power. They thought that the royalties are only concealing the power just because of their greed. They thought that it would be better if someone is managing the power. Yes, it is ridiculous. They're finding reasons to justify their desire to possess such a great power. What they didn't know was that this simple assumption and desire could lead to a division.
Some humans found out about Aura Manipulation, and how it could be acquired. We all know some humans are weak when it comes to greed, right? They've decided to team up with Mylophenia. Both races have similar desires and objectives, yet they have extremely different intentions. Members of Mylophenia wanted to acquire the power partially because of greed, but mostly because they wanted to take revenge on those more powerful than them. Yes, you have read it right. Almost all of them had been abused by those more powerful than them. As for the humans, well, I'm pretty sure it's obvious.
The members of Mylophenia worked with the humans I'm talking about in order to get the keys sooner. After their success on stealthily raiding the castle and getting the keys, it was instantly followed by their downfall. A powerful and noble knight caught them. Running away and immediately entering Earth, the instigators stumbled upon a forest. Most of them escaped, while a human got left behind. While running, he accidentally tripped upon a rock, causing the keys to fall out of his hands and headed right into the stream in front of him, losing them there. The knight managed to catch him, asking him to give the keys back. But this human retaliated, which leads us to him getting beat up by the knight. A member of Mylophenia came to his rescue, and fought with the knight until both of them died. The human ran away, telling others about the encounter. Of course, he became a mythomaniac and twisted the story on a whole new level. That is when it went all crumbled.
The members of Mylophenia blamed the royalties about the sudden chaos slowly seeping in with both parties. This caused a civil war. The palace didn't know what to do. They never noticed that a problem had occured. In other words, they were ignorant on Arcania's problems.
The rest is history. Around 45% of supers joined the humans, most of them rebelled against the palace because of their anger for their rulers. The royalties and the other supers had no choice but to get all the portal keys and end their relationship with humans. They don't care whether those rebel supers make a race of their own. All they care, for now, is how not to get extinct and how to protect that power no matter what.
The royalties commanded all portal keys to be taken away and returned to Arcania at once. Fighting is useless beyond this point. After all, they're outnumbered. Luckily, they were able to retrieve every portal key.
From then on, no one, except the remaining Arcanians, are able to gain access to the other realm. And to humans, this history became nothing but a fantasy.
What about the other supers? Well, they decided to live on another planet, leaving Earth to humans again. The 4 keys were then found by Jisoo's dad, Jennie's dad, Chae's dad, and Lisa's dads 50 years later. How did they find it? A super, who had invisibility powers, was the one who found the keys and guarded it his whole life. Why didn't he return the keys to Arcania? He got left behind, and he doesn't have a portal key with him. He died before their fathers found the keys.
Hope you enjoyed the history, I couldn't really think of a good history for them. Bye!
