Chapter 16

Taehyung is currently cleaning some tables. He can hear whispers going around the café. How he wish he could just sit and eavesdrop- just kidding! Don't eavesdrop, kids.

He continued his job, only to bump into a girl.

"I'm so sorry- Jennie?"

"Hey, watch where you're going next time. Tsk, my dress is ruined."

"I'm sorry," he bowed his head, apologizing for his mistake.

Jennie rushed to the bathroom, while Taehyung cleaned the mess he made. He thought about giving her his sweater, after all, she shouldn't walk around the public with a ruined dress.

Once she got out, Taehyung gave her the sweater. Looking t him dead in the eyes, her stare made him feel quite nervous.

Jennie smiled, and thanked him. She returned to the bathroom, fixing herself once again.

"Wow, she's quite scary sometimes," he muttered before continuing his u finished job.

A few minutes later, someone tapped on his shoulder. Turning around, he saw Jennie. She looks stunning. Her brown belt wrapped around her waist, giving the oversized sweater a shape, and her black boots matched perfectly with the black sweater.

"Does it look bad?" She asked.

"No, not at all. What are you doing here, anyway?" Taehyung spoke hastily. Why doesn't that sweater look that good on him? That's a question he wanted to ask.

"Well, paying Jisoo unnie and my new friends a visit. What else?"

"I see. Would you like a coffee?"

"Nope, no thanks. I'm just gonna wait here."

Taehyung walked to the counter, and to the kitchen, where the pastries are baked and the dishes are cleaned. He was blushing furiously as he remembered Jennie's face.

Why am I even blushing?

"Let me guess, she looks beautiful to you, right?"

Jisoo's voice made Taehyung look at the entrance. She laughed as she saw Taehyung's flustered look.

"Don't worry, it will remain a secret. Anyways, the rest of the girls are planning to meet up here. Call your other brothers, we'll have another meet up."

"Ok, Jisoo noona."

The girl smiled and went to her office, wherever that place is located. Taehyung did as he was told, still not ready to face Jennie and be a blushing mess. He called his brothers and told them about the announcement. As for Jin, well, he was confused on why Taehyung had to call him instead of telling him in person.

After a few minutes, Taehyung finally emerged from the kitchen and did his work. He finally grabbed a hold of himself, cuz he can finally look at the girl without blushing.

A few hours later

The café was finally closing, as it was already 8:30 p.m.

Yes, the café was opened for some extra minutes. The rest of the people there had already left, except for Jisoo, Jin, Taehyung, and Jennie, of course. They planned to meet up there.

The bell chimed, and soon, three males went inside and greeted the others.

"Where is Namjoon?" Jin asked Hoseok, Namjoon's twin. Hoseok told Jin that Namjoon had to buy something.

Minutes have passed, and the gang is finally complete. Jin and Jisoo went to the counter to make some drinks for all of them.

"This is already our 2nd meeting, yet we still don't have each others's numbers," Joy said. And... you guessed it. They exchanged numbers with each other. Even the maknaes, who literally work with each other, don't have their numbers.
