Chapter 24

It was 7:43 p.m. The event would start soon. The venue was ready. A mini stage, big enough to fit up to 5 people, was already set up. Yes, they stored some chairs to the storage room first. The café is bigger than normal ones, which is why they were able to make this event happen. The boys were currently at the storage room, heaving breaths to calm themselves down.

Minutes later, the clock struck 8:00 p.m. The café was already filled by that time. They closed doors, not locked of course, and let the event begin.

The boys stood at the stage, except for Jungkook and Seokjin. They were chosen to dance at the floor. They all positioned themselves, and began the music performance.

A few hours later...

The event became another success. Some people decided to have takeouts instead, because the people sitting at the tables never left their tables, not until they finished performing, of course. So... some people stood there, listening and watching the seven supers perform. It was great.

The next day...

Jungkook woke up to his phone continuosly playing its ringtone. He knew that it was time for work, again.

He got up, and did the usual routine.

An hour later... authornim is a lazy one

It was time to part ways with his brothers, again.

Jungkook, while walking, is thinking about one particular thing.

How do we get our 2nd tier powers though?

Without noticing, he already arrived at the convenience store. If it wasn't for Lisa who pulled him back, he would've wandered farther away from the convenience store.

They entered the convenience store, talking about some senseless stuffs. Lisa couldn't help but like him more. The way he speaks makes her heart flutter. Everything about him screams perfection. Although yes, he also has imperfections, but that's not important to her. He should be illegal.

What she doesn't know was that the boy had feelings for her as well. Although, he keeps denying it, deep down, he knows that he likes her. He just knows it.

At the café
Taehyung's POV

It has been approximately two weeks since that night happened.

These days, all I could think of is asking a particular girl to maybe have a lunch with me. But... no thanks.

"Bang Taehyung, how dare you ignore the worldwide handsome!" Jin hyung flicked my forehead, snapping me out of my thoughts. I asked him what he was saying.

"I said, the café will open 3 minutes from now! So you better prepare yourself, and get your butt out of that daydreaming session of yours!" He raised his voice. He went to the counter, and stood there, waiting for the café to open.

Customers soon stormed inside the café, mostly girls. And... they're looking at me. Shoot, awkward staring contest, begin!

A few hours later (I forgot to mention that this chapter might be filled with timeskips)

It was already 3:00 p.m. when the girl that makes my heart flutter, arrived. She gave me that knee-weakening (What the frick frack am I saying?) gummy smile. She took a seat, which was right beside me by the way.

"Hi Tae."

"What would you like to order, my lady?"

"Hmmm... the usual, of course. You know me, hon."

"Sure thing."

I went to the counter and told Jin hyung her orders. Then, I continued my job.

Timeskip... again.

Finally! 6:00 p.m., my favorite hour. (Remember when Jisoo exited the café at 8:00 p.m.? She had to do an overtime. The original shift dismissal of Jin, Taehyung, and Jisoo is at 6:00 p.m. The café closes is a 24 hour one... yep. )

All of the workers here at the café started leaving. I am currently in the bathroom, fixing my hair.

When I got out, I saw Jin hyung and Jisoo noona laughing with each other.

Why not just kiss each other and marry.

I cleared my throat, wanting to stop these two from acting like a cliché high school couple. Thankfully, they stopped. They blushed and looked away from each other.

They're confidently flirting at the chat, yet in real life, they're acting shy. Who do they think are they fooling?

We waved at Jisoo noona, and ventured to our house.

I smirked, and started teasing Jin hyung about it. He glared at me, but soon returned the smirk I gave him. My expression changed into confusion.

What... what did he do?

"I forgot, I asked Jennie to go with you to the amusement park this Saturday."

"WHAT?!"

"Psh, stop acting shy. You guys confessed with each other already."

"But still! We're not yet dating!"

"Yow, it's not like I asked her to kiss you. And... I never said you guys were dating. All of us should know each other very well first before dating."

"Oh... you have a point."

"Kid, loosen up. It would be fun, I'm telling you. Just don't do cheesy and cringeworthy, ok?"

"........"

There was a long pause. I sighed, and nodded.

"Trust me, Taehyung, you'll thank me later on."

We decided to change the topic, since it was getting more awkward.

Author's POV

The men finally arrived at the house. They opened the door, and saw yet abother normal scene.

Jungkook and Jimin are playing who-knows-what-videogame, Namjoon is arguing with Hoseok, something about which is faster. Probably comparing their elements. And Yoongi... he's been acting weird lately. He keeps smiling whenever he's at the phone. Taehyung and Jin assumed that he was talking with Wendy. Little did they know, he was actually talking to a girl who has a gummy smile.

What... what drama would happen?
