Chapter 4

I will not die; I’ll wait here for you in my time of dying. On this bed I lay, losing everything, I can see my life passing me by. Was it all too much, or just not enough? I am never good enough for anyone. Over and over, he makes me fall for him, and he does not even try to. I know what is best for me, and what is best for me is Matt.

Life Starts Now.

I looked around and noticed that someone kidnapped me.

Why does everything have to happen to me? I had a feeling that it was Josh doing all of this, but how did he KNOW where we would possibly be at? Did someone that we did not even know tell him? The only person that saw us was the hotel guy that got us our room. I even saw his name tag and it read: Ryan.

In a way, he did look familiar.  

I slowly started putting the puzzle pieces together and all of the sudden, it clicked in my brain and I knew who it was. Ryan Hunter, one of Josh’s best friends.

I cannot believe Josh sent someone to spy on us! But WHY? Josh has already punished me for what I did to him when all I asked of him was just to show me a different way to prove he loves me.

Now this?

There was no use of me trying to get out of here, because I was tied up really tightly and I could not move in inch. All I have to do is lay here and wait for whoever is keeping me.

The door creaked open and I saw Ryan’s face. What does he want with ME?

He came to the bed and said, “Hello Beautiful, I had strict orders to keep you here and away from Matt, my brother”

Matt’s brother? What? I did not know he had a BROTHER! In a way, Ryan did look like Matt, but I never would have guessed it. I wonder why Matt never told me he had a brother.

“Why? What do you want with me?” I asked him.

“Josh, that’s why. He is my best friend and whatever he says, I do it”

“So, if Josh said to take a crap, you would?”

He grabbed me by the neck and got into my face, “Listen here brat! If you keep talking sass with me, I will terminate my brother! Then, Josh will not have to worry about him” then he let go of me.

Why the sudden urge to kill Matt for? Something must have happened in the past that made them distant from each other.

“Where is Matt?” I wanted to know! And I need to know if he was safe.

“Somewhere with Josh, he is dealing with him for awhile. You know the usual. A punch there, a punch here, blood there kind of thing”

“Please don’t hurt him! This is my entire fault! NOT HIS!” I shouted.

“This IS his fault. He was the one that decided to come and RESCUE you and be the hero! He should have left you there in that mental institute and we wouldn’t be in this place!”

“Why do you hate him so much? He is your brother!”

“It’s none of your business! So just shut up and be quiet!” he shouted loudly at me. Ryan was nothing like Matt, he was the COMPLETE opposite.

All of the sudden, Josh came in.

“I got this bro” he told Ryan, and he left.

“Why are you doing this to me, Josh?”

“Because I love you, that’s why. Why can’t you just understand that?!” he got closer to me and he continued, “Baby, I need you in my life! I can’t stand seeing you being taken away from me, especially from Matt! You deserve ME!”
