I quickly run to the door and try and open the door but I feel movement other than mine on the doorknob.

The door flies open and in comes Jay.

“I told you not to do anything stupid!” he yells.

I let out a scream as loud as my lungs would let me and Jay pushes me and I fall to the floor.

Jay starts to shut the door but before he can, I jam my heel right into his shin directly. He lets out a grunt noise and comes at me. He grabs me by the jaw.

“I am so sorry…” I whisper.

“You know, I am actually impressed by you”

I draw up my leg and kick him square in the gut to make him gasp for air and he stumbles back. His head hits the wall.

I quickly get up and go out the door. I run as fast as I can through the woods. I can hear Jay behind me.

“RUN ALL YOU WANT, PRETTY LADY! NO ONE WILL EVER FIND YOU OUT HERE!” he shouts.

I hurry down this narrow path in front of me that leads me off into another wooded area. A pointed branch snags at my face, drawing blood.

I do not let that stop me.

I keep running through the woods, I hid behind a tree and I crouch down behind it to try and hide myself from him. Jay is still nowhere in sight, I hope and prayed that I lost him and he would never find me. I close my eyes and slowly breathe in and out and once I open them, Jay is standing right in front of me, he strikes me across the face and then grabs my shoulders firmly and aggressively shoves me again and points the tip of the knife to my neck.

I try to bite his hand with my teeth but it was no use, he starts to drag me away and I try to get away from him but he is stronger than me.

“STOP IT!” he yells.

“LET ME GO!” I say, while my legs are flailing.

He pushes me to the ground with such force that I gasp for air. Tears fall down my face and I need to save my baby’s life. I knew he was going to kill me and if he does, he would kill the baby too.

He ties my hands up so I will not doing anything else to him.

“You disobeyed my orders!” he screams in my face. He strikes me across the face once more.

“P-Please…! D-Don’t hurt me!! You will hurt the baby!”

“You should have thought about that before you disobeyed!”

What happens next, I have no clue, because I black out.

“Is the baby okay?! Is she okay?! TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON!”

“We don’t know for sure yet. We gave her some medicine to help her sleep and right now, we are monitoring her and the baby”

“You better take care both of them!”

“Sir, we are doing the best we can…”

I hear voices and then my subconscious gets the best of me and I go back to the world of blackness.

I come to again and hear more voices, whispering:

“How are we going to tell him she lost the baby?”

“We will just let it down easy…I feel sorry for them both, they have been through a lot…I remember them from another hospital I used to work at…”

I lost the baby?! What?! NO! I lost part of me and part of Matt! I lost our little boy…

I slowly wake up and look under my covers and found that my belly does not have a little bump anymore, it is flat.
