Chapter 2: The Infamous Jackson Hayes

"Jackson?" I said looking up at him.

"Abby!" He said hugging me "I can't believe you're here!" He looked at Mia.  "I'm Jackson, Abby and I went to school together. Then I moved away, we met up in Santa Cruz last year."

"I'm Amelia, Abby's new roommate I guess. Her boyfriend broke up with her and went to another school." I hit her arm softy, she giggled.

"Holy Shit, last I knew you guys were together! When did this happen?" I looked down at the ground, my heart still hurt.

"This Morning." I felt like crying but kept myself together in front of Jackson.

"Oh Abby!" He hugged me. "You still have my number?" I nodded. "I'll text you later, I gotta get going I have to meet for my class in 10! See you around!" He ran off.

"Ooo, rekindling an old flame are we?" She nudged me. I laughed and rolled my eyes.

"No....maybe." I blushed. "Well, if you haven't unpacked you are welcome to move in whenever. There's a bed already, but just come whenever." She smiled at me.

"Thanks, Abby. I'll bring my stuff by tomorrow after classes." I walked to my car and drove to my apartment.

I sat down on the counter and sighed. I needed to unpack but didn't want to do it alone. I decided to see if Jackson wanted to help.

Abby: Hey Jackson, it's Abby...do you want to come over and help unpack. 

Jackson:
Sure, be there in 10. Address?

Abby: 3602 Dunn Dr Apartment 6

I sighed and got into comfortable clothes to unpack. Soon there was a knock on the door. I opened it and it was Jackson.

"Hey, Abby." He said coming in. "Where do you wanna start?"

"Uh, can you unpack living room? I'm gonna do the kitchen."

"Sure thing! After we get that done we can order dinner." He said starting to unpack.

About an hour went by and he got everything situated in the living room. And he built the Tv stand and put the Tv on it. "Does this look good?" I nodded and put the rest of the food and things away.

"What do you want to do for dinner?" He said sitting on a stool on the island.

"Uh Pizza?" I said sitting next to him and he nodded.

"I'll go order and pick it up." He quickly ordered and sat back down.

"I'll start on the bathroom, while you get food." He nodded and left to get the pizza.

I put cleaners, and the bathroom things away and finally that room was done, I went into bedroom and finished putting my clothes and shoes away. All I had left was to hang personal things and put my makeup and jewelry away.

Soon Jackson returned and He yelled "HONEY, I'M HOME." My stomach fluttered. I blushed and went and sat down at the table.
