It was the middle of the night and I couldn't sleep.
Ricky was visiting his family in Seattle so I was all alone.
A fear started in the pit of my stomach, much like the one when my father would beat me to black and blue.
I started to panic because I could've sworn he was near.
I sat up in my bed and pulled my knees to my chest.
I looked out of the window and saw him.
I panicked and let out a scream.
I searched frantically for my phone when he started running towards the house.
I dialed 911 and then my bedroom door bursted open.
It was my dad and he looked mad as hell.
I screamed and started swinging when he came towards me.
I kicked him in the dick as he raised his hand to hit me.
I kicked the shit out of his head when he fell to his knees and grabbed a knife in case he came after me again.
I heard the sirens and relaxed slightly.
He bolted up and knocked me out with one blow to the head.
----
I woke up, blinded by a bright, white light and something moving inside my stomach.
I slowly sit up as I gain back my vision and look around.
Devin and the rest of the band is here. Ricky is in a corner asleep and Devin is sleeping uncomfortably in the hospital chair while the rest are passed out on the floor.
I look down at my stomach and it's gotten way bigger since last time.
I gently touch it and I feel the baby kick.
I smile slightly and look at Ricky. Shouldn't he be in the other empty hospital chair?
I shrug it off and lightly shake Devin.
"Ghostie..." I say softly as he wakes up.
"Blade! You're awake. Guys! She's awake!" Devin says excitedly.
Everyone wakes up and Ricky's distant, that is before I see Jessica curled up next to him.
I'm guessing it's because he thinks I might've cheated in him because I'm pregnant.
I ignored them, acting it didn't destroy the very being of my heart.
"You've been out for several months....after dad knocked you out, he kept beating down on your head." Devin explained to me.
I nodded and shrugged.
"Oh well. I'm better off dead anyway..." I said.
I received hurt expression from everyone, but I didn't care.
"Did the doctor tell you how far along I am or...?" I asked, ignoring the previous subject.
"You're 5 months along. Also, it's a girl." He told me.
I smiled and nodded.
A doctor walked in and nearly dropped his clipboard.
"Mrs. Sola, you're awake!" He exclaimed, rushing over to me.
He took a few blood sample, left, then came back with results and said I could leave.
He helped me up and into a wheelchair because that's the rules for the hospital or whatever.
Devin signed the papers and Ricky and Jessica were sucking face here and there. Rather disgusting I might add.
Me and Devin got in his car, the others in theirs, and left.
Devin, being protective as always, wouldn't let me go back to my house.
He moved all of my things to the guest room upstairs in their house so I'm living with them now.
It was already set up in my new room so I laid down and sighed.
I looked through old pictures of me and Ricky in my phone. It was pictures we took together when we used to sneak out at nights.
A few tears escaped my eyes and I threw my phone down on the bed.
I got up and walked over to my paint setup.
I started to paint a picture of me, Ricky, and the baby.
We were looking down at her and smiling while she was sleeping peacefully.
It looked like a real picture but o course it wasn't.
I wrote words above our heads that said "Only In My Wildest Fantasies" in pretty cursive.
I sighed and walked out of the room, wanting food.
I didn't talk to anybody. I just ate then left back to my room, only to find my painting no where to be seen.
"Whatever." I said to myself and closes the door.
I laid down and fell asleep.
