Little Sister is Feisty

   I get to re-decorating the cabin. At least my side of the cabin, according to the rumpled beds and occupied storage boxes, I may have two siblings.
  As I continue the intricate designs around my name 'Alex', I start to notice the metal work on the roof. A few sculpted hippocampi on string. I stare in awe at the beautiful sculpture and frown grumpily,

  I wish I could sculpt.

I keep staring at it, and fall into a deep sleep.

"I think she died." A male voice says.
"What?! Why?!" A different voice says in disbelief.
"She is not waking up no matter how much we try." The first voice reasons. Could it be possible, they could be talking about me?

Nahhh!!

"We'll try harder then. I don't want a dead sister!!" The second voice states.
  A few seconds later, I'm on the floor with three eyes staring at me. I quickly jump to my feet, riping my bow from my hair, holding it in front of me.
"Cyclops in the camp!! I repeat, Cyclops in the camp!!" I yell. The Cyclops looks confused. He looks at the boy next to him, who shrugs, and looks back at me grinning.

"Hello. My name is Tyson. You are my little sister." He says, coming towards me for a hug.
"Whoa there buddy. You come near me, and I will end you. Capishe?" I reply, taking a step back and trying to look intimidating. But we all know how that's working.

That's right!! I'm too freaking adorable for my good!

"Let me handle this Tyson." He turns to me and smiles. He has green eyes like me, but less glowy and jet black hair, he seemed taller with his 6 footish stature.
"Hi, I'm Percy. Percy Jackson, and I am supposedly your half brother with Tyson. It may seem weird, but give us a chance. We're all family here." He said nervously.

I eye him wearily, and sigh giving him a nod. He visibly brightens and they both rush into a hug. Both are crushing me.

"I thought you said that you didn't want me dead!! You're crushing me!!"
"I'm so sorry. Didn't mean to." Percy quickly apologizes. I look at Tyson, expecting an apology. But he just smiles oblivious to the current situation.
Percy clears his throat and shakes his head, "He won't apologize. It's sort of his thing."

I nod to myself absent minded, I have a soft spot for huggers. Probably because of Emily.

"Whoa!! You did this?!" Percy asks in awe. I nod shyly.
"Pretty." I hear Tyson say. Percy nods vigorously, "My little sister is talented!!" He yells startling me.
"And feisty too." Tyson adds.
"Gee thanks." I reply dryly.
"You are welcome." That is the part where I facepalm myself.

After dinner, we went to a campfire and sat in rings around the fire. We are singing a song that sounded like Old MacDonald but the lyrics were more messed up.

"We should let the newbie sing a song." Someone yells from the crowd. Me being me, ignored it thinking it was another 'newbie'. It wasn't until they started pushing me forward, that I realised they were talking about me. I try to struggle and squirm out of their hold, but it was pointless.
I stand awkwardly in front of everyone, "I don't know any of your camp songs." It's true, their songs are weird as fuck.

"Sing any song,"a blonde boy says. "I'll harmonize."
  I nod and think of a good song. I smile as I remember what Percy said, We're all family here.
I soon find the perfect song as I start singing with my best voice.

As I finish singing, I slowly open my eyes. My heart beats rapidly in my chest at the silence. Then suddenly everyone is cheering, well, apart from the big bully, Clarisse, and her friends. They hate my guts. The camp fire rises to the sky, bright orange, correlating to the campers feelings.

   Percy and Tyson is wave at me giving me thumbs up. Blake winks at me with a broad smile. And Nico at the far dark corner in the shadows, tilts his head, eyes filled with amusement and curiosity.
  And true to his word, the blonde boy, (who I come to know is Will Solace), harmonized with my song so I don't look like a fool.

Could this day get any better?!

I go to sleep happy and satisfied. I finally found my family. Well, kind of.
