Chapter 25(Alex's POV)
It was pretty difficult, trying to satisfy a child. Especially one who took a whole cup of caffeine filled coffee. I honestly blame Nyssa. She knew that this will happen.
Harley, her little brother, really loves animals. He told me to turn into a dove. I turned into a dove. He told me to turn into a bear and I turned into a bear. It keeps going like that for at least an hour and I'm tired.

"Ummm..." Harley ponders on what other animal there is and I take a break.
"A turtle elephant dinosaur!!" He squeals loudly. I pause and turn to him slowly, "What. The. Fuck. That's just nasty!!!"
Harley looks at me confused, "What is that word?" I visibly pale. I gulp inaudibly and try to act innocent, "What word?" I ask.

Harley looks confused, "That word. You said fu-" I quickly cup both hands over his mouth, looking left and right to make sure nobody heard.

"Harley, you can't be going around repeating every word you hear. You're eight years-"

"Eight and a half." He interrupts. I glare at him but he seems unfazed. Beaming at me with that overly adorable face of his.
I bite my nails nervously as I think of a way out. It's not my fault I don't have a mouth filter.
"Harley?" I call out. He answers with a hum, "You wanna meet your sister don't you?" He nods excitedly, making giggle a bit. I clear my throat to prevent another giggle from escaping, " You have a mission, Commander Harley," I announce in a deep voice. "You are the best out of us all. Therefore, your assignment would be tasking. You are to report our progress in space, the word," I say whispering the last part to help him understand , "To Alpha Nyssa. Good day and good luck Commander." He excitedly giggles and I take this as an opportunity to sneak away. I can already imagine Nyssa's face. Horrified.

We are expected to pick our Pegasi. Maximum two, minimum....um...two. Nico and I walk side by side, our arms barely touching. As we walk into the stable, the same voice from earlier calls for me.

Yo mistress, it says. I halt and shake my head, an alternative of clearing my head. I probably just imagined it.

Never thought mistress would be hot! It exclaims, but damn I'd tap that if I was human.

I look around for the voice, completely ignoring Nico's dumbfounded face. "Come outta there you coward and face me like a..." I trail off, I was going to say 'face me like a man' but I vaguely remember the 'thing's' phrase, 'if I was human.'

Mistress I'm here, it explains.

She doesn't know about us, stupid! Another voice snaps.

I hurriedly tap Nico, "I think I'm loosing my mind." Nico narrows his eyes at me before glancing at the stalls in the stables. He gives a smirk, "I'm most definitely sure you aren't crazy." He says removing the bolt off a door.

"How are you so sure? Do you hear them too?" I ask relieved, it's all normal. He shakes his head, chuckling slightly.  "Not at all."

"What?!" I shriek, I am really loosing my mind. "Call an ambulance! The police! Call a....umm...a shrink!" I'm panting heavily and I repeatedly run my hand through my hair, the thought of loosing my mind at such a young age drives me bonkers.

"Alex calm down." Nico scolds, "You do realize that Poseidon is the father of horses, right ?" He explains softly, as if explaining to a child. He stares at me intensely like he is expecting a reaction. I nod slowly hoping to get his stare off me. But he continues to stare, his palm open and fingers together as he rolls his wrist in a circle repeatedly motioning me to complete something that I do not know of.

Dude, the first voice begins. I don't think she gets it. Do you think we should help her?

I guess so Guido, voice number two replies.
Soon, the sound of hooves fill the stables. Two white horses emerge from the shadows. Not really, but dramatic entrances are always the best.

The horse neighs and I can unfortunately understand it.
Sup hot mistress, The voice I recognize as Guido compliments. He's eyes—I'm going to guess that it's a he—are sparkly brown from the light. His eyes light up, like he just remembered some joke his friend told him, while the other one is quite composed. He's front legs are bent like he's bowing and his eyes look up at me lazily.

I apologize for Guido's behavior mistress, the un-named horse says. He's always like that. My name is Porkpie.

I look at Nico, shaking my head in disbelief. I point at the horses, then at myself then at the Nico. Horses, Nico and I. Nico and I ride horses. Horses watching television with me and Nico. Writing a test with the horses. Horses. Horses. Horses. Everything blurs to the point I don't know what's real or not.

"See you at breakfast! Make sure you aren't late for the test!" I exclaim slurring my words, before letting my body fall backwards. Before I could feel the solid ground on my back, I black out.

Before it all goes black and numb I hear Guido shove in a comment.

Welp, that went well.
