Chapter 13(Percy's POV)
I pace in front of my sister in her wolf form. Her wolf with silky black fur and glowing green eyes, lays quietly watching me.

"What do you mean she's a shape shifter?!" I yell frustrated. At the corner of the cabin, my girlfriend, Annabeth sighs. "Percy, she's a child of Poseidon. There was already a chance that she would be a shape shifter. Plus, the fact that she is somehow related to Eros also helps."

I groan pulling at the roots of my hair. I turn back to my sister, "How does she turn back?"

"I guess she has to visualize herself as a human." I nod and walk towards Alex, and crouch down to her level. I stare into her luminant green eyes and brush her fur.

"Little sis, I know you heard our discussion. All you have to do is visualize your normal self. It's not so hard. Try it." After I say this I wait a few minutes, but nothing happens. I sigh dramatically, "Why isn't it working?!" I yell.
Annabeth slowly shakes her head as if ashamed.

"Look at her eyes Percy. Does she look like she wants to change? She looks tired. We need to give her a motivation."

Confused, I say, "What?"

"Give her a reason to change."
I nod my head and look around. My eye suddenly catches a blue silk pin on bow behind Alex's wolf ear. Annabeth follows my line of vision and goes to pick it up.

"What about this? I've seen her fiddling with it around camp. Has she figured it out yet?" I shake my head 'no'.

She turns to Alex, "Alex, if you shift. I'll teach you how to use this weapon."
At weapon, Alex's ears perk up. She stands up and wags her tail left and right, barking excitedly.

"Just visualize yourself," Annabeth says. "Visualize."
Half a second, there is a puddle of water on the floor. Another half second, Alex is laying in the place of the puddle with torn clothes. It looks like she survived a shredder. The thought alone makes me snort.

Alex rolls onto her back and groans. Annabeth frowns, "That isn't how you transformed earlier."

As Annabeth voices her thoughts, I kneel by my sister and look for any injuries or cuts. I hug her tight eventually, "You had me worried there for a second." I whisper.

Alex looks at me surprised, "I didn't think you would care."
I frown at her, "You're my sister. Of course I care about you!!"

"Do you have enough strength to shift?" Annabeth asks.
Alex closes her eyes and yawns, " I don't know."

"Shift."

"What?!" I ask surprised. "She should shift? Again?!"
Annabeth just nods, narrowing her eyes at Alex.
Alex sighs, " Don't worry Percy. I think I can do it."

I watch as she closes her eyes and take deep breaths. Suddenly she a puddle then a wolf. She barks once, then she's a puddle again and then a demigod again. She shivers then falls to my lap, unconscious.

I check her pulse and sigh, "She's okay."

Alex's POV

I feel it's a natural thing now to wake up with everything hurting. I try to raise my head and instantly regret it. I wince  as my head pounds. I look around and realise that I am alone in the cabin.

I ignore the pain and get up to go proceed my morning routines. As I finish, I go outside and immediately flinch at the bright afternoon sun.

   How long was I asleep?

I look around to search for any familiar faces or Annabeth and find no one. And I don't have any friends but Nico. Then I decide, 'Hey, why not just go to Nico's cabin.'

So that's where I went.

Nico's cabin is really dark. Like really really really dark. But the skull with purple flames is pretty cool. I enter into the cabin and find it empty.

Probably in the shower.

I lie on the only bed in the cabin and I suddenly feel very tired. I'm about drift into very blissful sleep when I'm pushed off the bed.

What's with people pushing off the bed?!!

"Do you know how dangerous it is to sleep on this bed if you're not a child of Hades?!" Someone yells at me.

I roll onto my back and look up. I see Nico, his wet hair flat against forehead, and his chocolate pools glaring at me. I groan loudly, "What happened this time to make you so grumpy?" I mutter.

Nico doesn't answer my question, "What are you doing here?"

I snort, "I came here to see my best and only buddy!!" I yell sitting up.
Nico raises his brow in question. He shakes his head, " We are not buddies."

"Yet." I murmur.

"What was that?" He asks narrowing his eyes at me.
I shake my head left and right vigorously, giving an innocent grin which he knows is fake.

I knock sounds at the door. Nico moves to open it as I take a seat at his bed. I study the cabin as Nico has a one sided discussion with someone at the door.

"Chiron needs you at the Big House."

I look up Nico, "What does he need this time?"I ask tiredly.

He shrugs. "Probably the fact that you're realising what you are capable of way too fast."

"Soo..."

"Yes, because you shifted. And you need to train."

"Son of a bitch!!!"
