Chapter 26(Alex's POV)

An evil cackle echoes around the cave that I suddenly found myself in. I growl loudly, taking stance and preparing myself. The cackle soon reduces to an intimidating chuckle.

"Sweetheart," he calls out and I instantly freeze. The lycanthrope is back. I whimper mentally, as much as I try to forget. I just can't. "L-leave me alone. I have nothing of yours." I call out. I inwardly slap myself for stuttering. He knows I fear him.

"You fear me. I know you do little one. I can smell the fear coming off you." His steps sound closer until he is behind me. I squeeze my eyes shut, so I may not see his horrid red eyes. He pulls me to him and turns me around, so that we are chest to chest. He pulls my chin upwards, "Even more beautiful than Aphrodite herself. You would seat next to me on my throne, rule next to me for an eternity. You could die or you could run away with me and live. Your mine and only mine, Eleanora." He whispers softly like he is in a trance. "Open your eyes, little one. So that I may see the eyes of the woman I fell in love with."

I don't listen to his request. His hands trails from my waist to my hips, where he squeezes. Hard. His grip will probably leave bruises. I whimper loudly, my body frozen from his power. He controls all wolves and shifters. I have no chance. "I said open your eyes." He growls out angrily. My eyes involuntary opens and I'm sure he is using his powers. He growls again, lowering his head to the crook of my neck still gripping my hips tightly. I try to lean away from him, but he pulls me even closer and sniffs my neck.

He nuzzles into my necks and hums. I hold in my shriek as I feel his teeth scrape my neck. I push him off me, relieved that I have regained the ability to move. But my celebration is cut short, I am not able to move anymore. I lay on the floor immobile as he lunges for me with a feral snarl.

I jump off my bed quickly, all covered in sweat. I sigh shakily, it was all a dream. Just to make sure, I pull up my shirt to check the hips he held so tightly. There were no bruises. I also need to find this 'Eleanora', because this lycanthrope dude is starting to mess up my dreams. I run my hand through my hair tugging it before taking a shower.

That was one hell of a dream.

I put on some leggings and my converse with my usual camp shirt and head out on a journey to Ole Nico's cabin. I walk up to the door and I'm about to knock on the door when I hear groaning. I listen for a few minutes and it almost sounds like he is in pain. So, being the caring person that I am, barge in just to make sure that my only friend is okay. The first thing that my eyes zone in on are Nico's hands. That are in his pants. Nico quickly scrambles off the bed and falls to the floor with the covers. Cute.

"What are you doing? It sounded like you were in pain? Are you alright?" I ask. His eyes widen and he shakes his head, "No, I had an itch that was difficult to reach. But it's all gone now."

I nod slowly, my eyes narrowing at him trying to find out if he is lying or not, but I'm not very good at that. I sit on his bed with my Greek books, spreading them out on the bed. I grin up at him, "We find out their weaknesses, then we can work on the chariot. "

"Aphrodite?" I ask, slightly gnawing at my- I mean Nico's pencil.

"Loves jewelries and make-up. Basically anything shiny. Hates water, messes up her hair and make-up."

"Athena?"

"General aversion of spiders. Sworn enemies in fact." I inwardly giggle at Nico's horrible British accent. We reviewed the history of every god and goddess, and from each story we tried to figure out what makes each god slightly vulnerable on unreasonably angry. Each weakness or important fact I come upon, I write down.

"Hermes?"

"Shiny stuff, money. Basically thieves and trouble makers miss." This time I actually giggle.

"Ares?"

"No weaknesses. But they value their pride in combat and take it a bit personal when you rough them up."

"Apollo?"

"No weaknesses. But they specialize in archery and music. Earbuds would be advisable."

"Okay. What else?"

"What about Poseidon and Zeus?

I look at him in disbelief, "Have you forgotten I'm a child of Poseidon? If anyone gets their hands on this, we're toast." I say holding out the sheet of paper.

"But what about Percy?" He asks. He looks cute like that. His head tilted to the side making his fringe fall onto his forehead and his brows pinched together in confusion.

"Percy loves Annabeth, right?" Nico nods at my question, still looking confused. "Maybe he will choose her over the game. I'm technically doing him a favor by making his relationship more mushy and stuff."

"Annabeth is very determined," Nico begins. "She never leaves a game she started. Must be an Athena thing." I shrug indifferently, writing and circling the word 'determined' under Athena.

"Is that all?" I ask. Nico nods and I sigh. Now the chariot, which will be built by my elder brother Tyson. I groan mentally. It's not like I don't like him, but his bone crushing hugs need more of hugs and less of bone crushing. Will I make it alive?
