Today you and Arcee were walking around the military base together since Jack was playing video games with Raf and Miko. You were surprised that she kept wanting to hang out with you, not that you were complaining or anything. You loved spending time with her, a lot. As you both were walking she stopped when she saw something crawling on the ground.
"What is....that?" Arcee asked you as she pointed to the ground.
"Oh, cool! It's a praying mantis." You said when you saw it.
"A what?" She asked you.
"A praying mantis. They eat the bad insects." You said as you let it crawl onto your hand.
"So, it's an insect?" She asked you, clearly amazed that you picked it up.
"Yeah, but they're really cool, especially since they're the only insect that can turn their heads without turning their bodies." You said as the mantis turned it's head and looked at Arcee.
"You should put it somewhere safe, so that it doesn't get stepped on." Arcee said as she smiled at the mantis.
"I know, over here looks good." You said as you carefully put the praying mantis somewhere safe.
