We left shortly after the battle. We didn't want to talk to anyone else, we didn't want to hear about the massive spell.
I definitely didn't want to see the general anymore.
Besides, my hair had turned completely red at this point, while I had been able to keep my hair color under control, passing out certainly did not help in any way.
"Do you want to ride with me on my dragon? You probably don't feel so good."
True, I didn't. But I shook my head. It was fine, I could fly a dragon fine.

"So... are we going to talk about us?"
I look over at Noah.
"Y-yeah. Of course."
"Well um, what are we?"
Two people that kissed.
"A couple hopefully?"
He smiles at me warmly.
"Well, will you be my girlfriend then?"
"Do I even need to answer that question? Of course I will, dummy."
The rest of the flight was pretty uneventful, we just talked and made some jokes. We did pass by some enemy territory and they started firing spells but we managed to get out of there mostly unscathed.

We landed back at the camp the next day, it was in the afternoon and everyone starts running up to us.
"WHAT IN ETHERIA'S SAKE MADE YOU THINK THAT USING A SPELL LIKE THAT WAS OKAY? YOU ALMOST BLEW YOUR SECRET!"
"Nice to see you too."
Thanatos comes over and hugs me.
"She's just saying she was scared. We all thought you..."
"No worries, I survived. You can't get rid of me that easily."
I grin at him and he lessens his grip on me.
"Well, on other news, the army was repelled, which you probably already know, we're dating, and General Ava is a jerk."
"..."
"YOU'RE WHAT?"
Breeze, Ash, and Chelsy tackle me in a hug and I fall to the ground.
"Finally! I thought you guys were never going to get together! It's been five years!"
"Seriously, my brother is dense. It took him forever just to realize he liked you."
I laugh and tell them what happened on the trip.
All of them had almost murderous looks in their eyes when they heard about the general.
"Why that little- she doesn't deserve your help."
I roll my eyes at them and continue on.

It seemed perfect. That little moment seemed perfect.
Well, it couldn't always be perfect.
