We ride for the whole day before stopping at the castle.
The queen and king were already dead at this point, but the soldiers managed to stop the invasion from reaching here.
"It's been a while since I've been back home. I should go check on my parents."
We both didn't say anything but we both knew that we were asking the same question.
If they were still alive.
"Yeah... heh. Come on, let's go."
Some soldiers that recognized me saluted. I had started to get used to that now, the rebellion was widespread and many people are able to recognize my face, yet it somehow always took me off guard.

Why salute to me? I'm just the leader of something, I'm not important.

A general walks in, and looks me over.
"So you must be the famous Luna. Strange, I thought you would look prettier."
I step back a little. I never thought I was beautiful but it was different hearing it from a stranger.
Noah steadies me with his hands.
"Hey! I think she's amazing."
A slight blush appears on my face but he seems to ignore it.

Duh. He doesn't like me.

She frowns. "I'm General Ava. I'm helping you while you're here, in my kingdom."

She walks away leaving a stunned me and a almost angry Noah.
"Don't listen to her, you're one of the best people I've met in my life. She's probably just jealous."
"Of what?"
I blurt it out without thinking, but I had to know. Why would anyone would jealous of me?
"You're the leader of a rebellion. You've defeated a while army by yourself."
I roll my eyes at him.
"That was barely a army. You could wipe out far more than me."
He looks at me sadly.
"You're amazing Luna, don't let some stuck up general tell you otherwise."
I nod but I knew those words got to me more than it should've.
"Thanks... I'll go to my room now."
I push him away and walk to my room.
I look back at Noah, just to see his hurt expression.
I ruin everything. That's why he doesn't like me.
