We were all still... shaken up. I hadn't really noticed before, but Dani was wearing shoes. He didn't do that, not really. Flowers appeared wherever he walked and now... there was just nothing.
"So... where are we going?" There was a pause when I asked.
"You don't know?" Chelsy crosses her arms.
"No...? Sorry, I guess I wasn't paying attention to-"
"We... don't know either." Thanatos rubs the back of his head nervously.
"You... you don't know? WE'VE BEEN WALKING FOR OVER TWO DAYS!"
"WE WERE FOLLOWING YOU!"
"I WAS FOLLOWING YOU!"
"What is happening...?" Dani had a bewildered look on his face as we argued.
"We're lost. Oh my gods, we're actually lost." Chelsy buries her face in her hands and groans
"Okay, okay, okay. We're not completely lost, we have to be in one kingdom or another. Can any of you guys sense... anything?" I look around and they shrug.
"You literally have all the elements, shouldn't you sense something?"
"I really wouldn't know... but if my hair is just neutral, that means we're near the capitol or light kingdom. I can control my hair there, but no where else."
"So we're still lost?"
"If we keep going in an direction, we'll figure it out." That was my grand plan, which worked... another two days from then.
~~~
"How- what- This doesn't make any sense! How far did we walk?"
"Well... we were in the capitol... at one point...?" I shrug and turn to look at Chelsy. Her expression was unreadable.
"Well, I guess we're already here." She grimaces.
"Yeah..." I take a step forward and my hair fades into blue. "Sirei."
"The water kingdom." She jumps off the cliff and dives into the water. We all wait for her to resurface.
"Uh... so who's going first?" I look at the boys.
"I'm a nature mage, water and nature don't really well together so..." Dani rubs the back of his head.
"Nature literally beats water, what are you talking about?"
"Yeah, so maybe someone else should go first..." He gestures to me and Thanatos.
"Okay... so you then?" I turn to the darkness mage.
"I mean... you are the one with all the elements... maybe you should go first."
"Me? No, no, no. I barely know how to do any magic- AHHHHHH!" Thanatos gave me a light shove and I splashed into the water.
I started panicking.
I'm gonna die, I'm gonna drown! IF I GET MY HANDS ON THANATOS-
Wait.I took a deep breath and didn't immediately choke. I resurface and look at the boys.
"I really hope you knew I would live, asshole!"
"There was like a 30/70 chance!"
"That's not good odds!" I hear two splashes beside me and the boys resurface.
"Where's Chels?"
"No idea. Knowing her, she's either really close or really far away." I sigh. "She is a different kind of mage."
"She wouldn't be Chelsy if she wasn't." Thanatos gives a weak smile. "So, uh, can you help us move faster?"
"I barely learned plant magic! How am I supposed to learn water just like that?" I snap my fingers and the water... reacts.
"Kinda feels like you already did."
"Okay, sure, but don't expect me to do that every time." I grumble as I get a feel for the water. It was ever changing, ever moving. Maybe it could've been harder for other people, but it just felt right to me. I didn't like stiffness, I wanted to move. The water moved with me, I didn't have to ask it.
I created a small wave to push us forward. It took a but, but we got to the main part of Sirei."Do you think Chelsy's here?" Dani looks at us.
"Maybe. I'll be honest, I still don't know her well enough to say," I mutter out
"I mean, if I had to guess... maybe there?" Thanatos points in a direction and we turn. The vibrations alone should've signaled us, but I guess we were just clueless.
"So... who's going?" There was a brief silence before Thanatos sighs.
"I'll do it, but I might not make it out alive." It was a joke, but we see Dani stiffen.
"Uh, yeah. You go do that."
~~{Chelsy}~~
Out of all the places in the world, we ended up here. Just my luck, I guess.
"You could've told us about where you were going."
"I would've found you either way."
"Kinda feels like we found you first." He sits down next to me.
"Oh please, I could sense you a mile away. The water is my domain." It was a lie, but it's never a bad time to intimidate people.
"Either way, wanna tell me what's up?"
"Nothing."
"That's a lie and you know it."
"Give me a break. I don't need all that shit about how- how everything will be alright and I need to get over it. I know that, damn it! I just need a minute alone, which is obviously not happening right now!" The water around us swirls dangerous as I get louder and louder.
"That wasn't what I was going to say." He tries to put a hand on my shoulder but I smack it away.
"What were you going to say then? Huh?"
"Stop acting so defensive when I'm just trying to help." He sounded like a tired teacher.
"I'm not acting defensive! Just give a second alone!"
"Chelsy-"
"Just- just GO!" Water slammed into him and he went flying into a rock. I cover my mouth in shock.
I didn't mean to-
I never wanted to...
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the others swimming over to him. They both turned to me, their faces morphed into one of fear and shock.
At least, I thought so.And I just left. I turned tail and just swam away.
Idiot.
I've never actually explores Sirei in the original book, and I'm sorry for that. Since the book is being cut down, this will be a separate arc for Chelsy.
I think this will be one or two more chapters, perhaps more. This book is being horribly shortened because of longer chapters, so I'll be adding more arcs!
