"What?"
"I'm resigning."
They all look at me with shocked or confused looks, yet they all knew that something like this would happen.
"I can't be the leader of this rebellion if Lucifer can read my mind. It also means that I can't know anything."
I couldn't trust myself with anything, not now, not ever.
"Who will take your role?"
"I don't know, you guys will choose among yourselves. Just please... don't tell anyone why I left."
With that I ran out of the tent and into the middle of the forest.
I didn't have any place to go now, I usually stayed in the camp, now I couldn't. Where would I go? What would I do?
I decided on building a house, here. I would be close to everyone but not with them. It took me a few days but I built a little cottage. It wasn't perfect, but neither was I.

I stayed there for a year, never happy but knew that the rebellion didn't need me. In fact I was hurting them. That hurt me.
Noah moved in with me after a few months, although I really only saw him in the mornings and at night. The others visited frequently but I could see the longing to go back to the camp, they kept saying that everything was falling apart. I know they wanted me to come back, but I couldn't.
In the meantime I practiced my powers and started working with weapons. Mainly knives or staffs. It was a very deserted space other than the camp. It was a good place to hone my powers and to destroy some trees.
Then one day Breeze comes running up to me.
"The final attack has started. We need you at Lucifer's castle. NOW!"
I grab my weapons and follow Breeze.
"Why is it happening now? What happened?"
"We saw a hole in his defenses, this might be the only opportunity we have to finally defeating him."
I nod and run to Thanatos as he was getting ready to teleport.
I was not ready for what would happen next.
