Surprise visits.

"I'm serious I don't need your help," I say wincing as I hear a crash in the background and the high pitch giggle of Zackariyah.

Asher looks behind me towards the broken case on the ground, "I think you do," he says with a smirk before lowering his gaze.

I sigh and move out of the doorway letting him in. The specialist that Shiza sent is him. I'm so going to kill her the next time I see her. But if he can do the magic to calm this monster down, I'll give her a bit credit.

"So what's his name?" Asher asks staring at Zacky jumping up and down the sofa. I make some more space between us and stand with my arms crossed.

"Zackariyah. Zacky for short. Monster could work too." I grumble out.

He laughs that heart melting-Astaghfirullah- laugh of his and shakes his head a bit. "I've seen worse Romaisa, I used to work at a daycare throughout high school."

Damn this dude is really feminine, fashion and day cares.

"I also played football and one time I had to take one of the kids with me, it was a disaster."

Eh at least he's manly enough to play football.

"That's cool, so you wanna try and work your magic?"

Asher nods and takes his converse off, putting them to the side of the door he walks towards the living room.

"Hey Zackariyah!" He calls out to my brother with enthusiasm. "I'm Asher, your new amazing friend." Asher bends down to Zackys height and smiles right at him. Zackariyah stands there confused as I lean against the wall of the living room. I smirk knowing what's coming next, but Asher dosn't and he soon feels the tiny slap of Zackys as he runs away giggling.

Asher holds his cheek confused as he stares after Zackariyah running around the kitchen island pretending he's an airplane.

"Does he did that to everyone or was there a bug on my cheek?" Asher says standing up.

"He does that to people he dosn't know, to get on his good side after this slap you'll have to present either candy or money. I learned all this from Omar, my sisters husband." I say with a small smile on my face.

Asher reaches into his pockets and fiddles around before pulling out a quarter. "Think a quarter will do?" He says with a smirk, before walking towards a Zacky on top of the kitchen table.

I watch as he waves the quarter around Zackys face as if trying to hypnotize him, somehow it works and Zackariyah takes the quarter before jumping into Asher's arms.

"Go Ashie go! Your the horsey now! Go go go!" Asher places Zackariyah onto his back without any effort and I watch as he pretends to be a horse causing Zackariyah to giggle.

"I think I'll take it from here, you can go do whatever a Romaisa usually does," he says to me while galloping around the sofa.

I smile shaking my head before turning around and heading up the stairs but not before taking one last look at how good they look playing. Omar has a bit of a back problem so Zacky couldn't play horsey with him. Looking at him now I havn't seen Zacky happier since. I catch Asher's eye from the stairs and he grins at me causing me to blush, before I can see anything else I go up the rest of the stairs, trying to hide my embarrassment.

Picking out the textbook for business I begin to study as we have a test tomorrow....should probably tell Asher that.

Sighing I put on my reading glasses and pick up my high lighter. I wish there was something like glue brain, get information and glue them to your brain. That would make life so much easier.

After about thirty minutes I hear the ring of the doorbell cut out the voices of Asher and Zackariyah. I hear one of them get up, probably Asher and head towards the door.

It can't be my dad or mom, they texted me a while ago saying they'll be late. They met up with old friends and were staying for tea.

I hear a male voice at door, fixing my hijab I went to see who it was. Walking down the stairs and around the corner I found Asher with Zackariyah on his shoulders and an angry Osama at the door.
