Osama's pov
I combed the last piece of my hair back and grinned into the mirror, today was the day my little bro would leave the nest....and move in next door with Shiza. They made a mistake deciding to be my neighbours. I smirk to myself thinking of all the ways I could prank them.
For instance if they're making too much noise doing the thingy I could always say my prayers really loudly and start reading the Quran right against the wall that separates our apartments.
"OSAMA WHERES MY TIE?" I hear Abbas yell from his room, I walk out of mine and into his to find his room a complete mess with his teacher books strewn everywhere. He stands there flabbergasted holding his tie in his hand.
I point my eyes to it but instead of looking at his hand he searches the ground like a loose dog on the prowl for food. Rolling my eyes I grin and pull the tie out of his hand, he looks over at me and glares, "you little khara why'd you take it?!"
I slap a hand to my forehead as he starts putting it on, "poor Shiza," I mutter to myself smirking as I take in his reaction. He punches my shoulder hard causing a wince to escape, "you're just jealous."
I let out a blubber of air rubbing my shoulder as he starts combing his hair, "yeah I'm so jealous of how my brother can pull off the 'no pants to the wedding' look." I say grinning and eyeing his bare legs.
He scowls and grabs his dress pants out of the closet quickly putting them on, he fixes everything up and twirls around for me, "so how do I look?" Abbas is wearing a black tuxedo that's broad and stiff and right fitted, I'm wearing the exact same type but mine is a shade lighter and I'm also sporting a bow tie instead of a black tie like he is.
"Pretty like a princess." I say waving my hand sound as if it was a wand, he scowls with a smile shaking his head at me, "you're so immature sometimes now let's get going we have to pick up Asher too."
I nod and trudge after him grabbing his forgotten car keys and wallet for him, the little turd must be thinking about Shiza again. My thoughts are clarified when he bumps into a wall that even a blind person could see, "seriously Abbas?" I say throwing his keys and wallet at him. He catches them swiftly, rubbing his nose, "hey I got important things on my mind alright?"
Shaking my head I let out a laugh as I lock our or should I now say my apartment door behind us, I point to the next door and say, "well you'll get that 'important thing' locked in with you soon enough."
As we start driving down to Asher's house Abbas says, "so dad didn't call back?" I shake my head, my hands tightening against the steering wheel. I peak through the side of my eye and watch as he hunches over in his seat.
