I wake at 4:30 am in the morning, I see Marcus is already up and sitting on his bed reading, I wink to him and he nods. I stand up, I already changed in the middle of the night so now I'm reading to leave, so is Marcus. I motion him over to the door and he nods and walks over. I luckily know that no floors creak in the building thanks to re-construction so they won't wake up.
I motion to Marcus to be quite and he just rolls his eyes. I take out a bunch of dust from a bag in my backpack and blow it across the room. Marcus raises his eyebrows and I open the door and motion him out.
"What was that dust?" he asks when I close the door.
"It was sleeping powder so they don't wake up until an hour," I pause as I put it back in my backpack, "it's leftover of what Parker used on me a year ago." Marcus just nods after that part.
We get into the car and Marcus starts it up. He smiles and pulls out, luckily I'm not driving or it'd be really bad, Marcus is actually good at this.
"So, here we go. We'll be in San Fransisco in no time, sis." he smiles and zooms out of the parking lot of the academy and I laugh excited to see what once was mine and claim it again.
