The Voices in My Head (pt 2)

One week later:

I woke up and got ready for school

"Don't forget you have that test today" George reminded

"And your shift today ends at 5" Jessica also reminded

"Mom in the kitchen" Alexa warned I looked up

"Hey mom"

"Hey hon, how did you sleep?" she asked

"Not bad," I told her getting some cereal

"Didn't the milk expire yesterday?" Opal asked I grabbed the milk and smelt it

"Mom, do we have any more milk?" I asked

"No we don't, I'll get some on the way home today"

"Toast. We have some toast" Ryan said monotoned as I fixed myself some before heading to school.

For the last week since I've had these voices, we've figured out a system to help me and not seem like such a weirdo while they're in my head. They remind me about things that are coming up and sometimes help me during my classes since there are 7 of them. They are kind of like having your own personal counselor with you at all times.

As I walked into school Lucy came up to me

"Hey Laura, how are you today?" she asked

"Tired"

"Need more sleep"

"Not wanting to be here"

"SLEEP!"

"Mentally and physically not ready for today"

"I'm tired"

"Can we go back to bed?" I twitched involuntarily

"Yeah, just tired that's all" I smiled

"Ugh, same why do we have to get up so early?" Lucy groaned

"Right! Why do we have to get up so early" Jessica groaned too

"It's so they have more time to teach us more things. And so we don't have to take days to come to school over a break" George explained

"They can still push it back a few more minutes," Chad said

"Can you guys stop talking" I whispered. Even though having your own counselor with you all the time is great it has it's downsides to it. When they talk all at once it makes me twitch involuntarily. "Yeah I know right. Anyways see ya later" I said as I headed my first period.

"Man, today was tiring," I said as I walked inside my house

"Yeah, it was. Hey has anyone heard from George since this morning?" Alexa asked

"Now that you've mentioned he usually pipes up during classes but he didn't today," Travis said

"Hang on," Jessica said before returning "Guys, George isn't anywhere," she said

"Wait, what do you mean? He's got to be here somewhere. He couldn't just have disappeared" Ryan said

"George is gone? AH!" Opal screamed before static buzzed through my head

"Ouch, what was that?" I asked clutching my head

"I don't know. Opal? Opal, what happened?" Alexa asked

"I have a bad feeling guys" Ryan voiced

"Yeah, talking abo—" suddenly Chad was cut off
