Azumi breathed the salt-filled air into her lungs, smiling at the familiar smell of the sea. In her travels, she had missed the bitterness of a sea-swept wind and the smell of salt that stuck to your clothes. But more importantly, Azumi missed the pirates. Travelling solo was nowhere near as fun as it used to be, and Azumi missed the bustling and energetic aura of the pirates.

Striding into Awa, Azumi recalled the position Gigan told her they would be and drifted off towards that area with a smile on her lips. She climbed over cliffs and through valleys, reaching an area she had never seen before. It was beautiful, but that wasn't what shocked her. The pirate crew was being productive. All around her, pirates were training and preparing for something. Azumi could only assume the final battle was being staged at this very moment, and she had just walked into the midst of it. Jumping off the small cliff she stood on, she walked up to the closest pirate and tapped his shoulder.

"What did I miss?" Azumi smiled, only to startle when the man burst into tears. She stared down at him with wide eyes as the sword dropped from his hand and his eyes began to water.

"Azumi!" He wailed obnoxiously, the male charging towards her and attaching himself with loud sobs. Said female watched as many people all across the campsite visibly perked up, heads whipping around to stare at her with wide eyes. Before she could respond at all, she was suddenly swarmed by sobbing pirates. All of them clutched onto her legs, hips and waist, while Azumi threw her arms above their heads to keep her balance.

"I wasn't gone that long... Stop crying!" Azumi complained, struggling to wiggle out of their grasp. Her expression slowly became more and more irritated as the pirates began to wail about how they missed her, while bluntly ignoring her complaints. It was because of this that she did not hear nor notice the approach of her new comrades, a bunch of unlikely handsome men that Jae-ha had been avoiding as if his life had depended on it previously.

As Azumi lost her patience, she kicked a pirate away and watched as he rolled away with tears streaming down his face. She clenched her fist and gritted her teeth, unimpressed by this sudden pathetic show they were putting on. With a couple of slaps to the back of the head, Azumi finally surfaced from the puddle of pirates. Before she could do anything, a foot connected with her ankle, and suddenly Azumi was falling. Azumi squeaked as warm arms slithered across her body and held her in place just before she could fall, Jae-ha's face now close to her own.

"You didn't even greet me" Jae-ha pouted childishly, making Azumi sigh with a slightly depressed expression on her face. She slid an arm out of his hold and pressed it flat on his face, before pushing harshly despite the danger of making him drop her.

"Yes, yes. Hello, it's nice to see you too. Have you grown taller? It feels likes years since I've last seen you" Azumi said sarcastically with an eye-roll. Sliding out of his grasp, she straightened out her clothing before turning back to him with a scowl on her face. When she asked about Gigan's whereabouts, she only got a cheeky grin from the green dragon. Azumi sighed, her exhaustion coming back tenfold before she turned to the presence beside her. Azumi blinked owlishly at the boy, as she had thought it was a pirate and she wasn't aware that they had gained new recruits. The peach-haired boy watched with an expression of stone as the brunette's expression was replaced with one of curiosity, and she completely ignored the ranting and raving of the pirates behind her as they assaulted Jae-ha for 'attacking their innocent Azumi.'

"Who are you? And what is someone as cute as you doing with a bunch of pirates?" Azumi asked bluntly, her eyebrow gradually rising as she watched the boy twitch slightly before a bright grin appeared on his face. He began to glow, pleased with her praise, which made Azumi sweatdrop. 'Oh great, another weirdo' she thought while maintaining a shaky smile on her lips.
