"General Geun-Tae! General Geun-Tae!" A panicked voice called out from the hallway, followed by the sound of loud footsteps as the man ran through the hallway. Azumi glanced up from her book and sighed at the sight of the Earth Tribe's general lounging just to her left, playing a game of Shogi by himself and ignoring the guard shouting for him outside.
"Come in" Azumi called, making Geun-Tae send her an angry look. The soldier threw open the door, panting heavily and looking very frightened. Azumi returned to her book, assuming that this would have nothing to do with her. Geun-Tae returned to his game of Shogi, despite knowing that this message was solely for him.
"General Geun-Tae! King Soo-won has returned!" The guard cried. Instantly, the two occupants of the room flinched and simultaneously snapped their gazes to the guard.
"What!?" Geun-Tae cried in horror.
"Again!?" Azumi cried, looking horrified and confused at the same time.
"He is waiting at the front gates of the palace and has asked for your presence. He apologises for appearing once again, uninvited" The soldier replied, bowing repeatedly furiously. After all, he had just made the general and his bodyguard angry, and he feared for his life.
"I'm out of here" Azumi muttered, slapping her book shut and jumping up off her designated rug. After spending a month around this place, she quickly caught up on the fact that 1: Geun-Tae is lazy, and 2: he didn't need a bodyguard. So, Azumi took to reading all of Yun-ho's books and had claimed the circular rug in the corner of Geun-Tae's room. Most of her days were now spent sprawled out with whatever food she wanted, occasionally talking to Geun-tae but mostly ignoring him and his presence. It was an unsaid agreement between the two because they both admired each other and each other's talents, that they could walk out whenever and do whatever. Azumi did not need to act like a bodyguard unless something important happened, but the capital of the earth clan had nothing important enough for her assistance, Guen-tae could his clan well enough by himself.
"If I have to suffer through another visit, you have to as well" Geun-Tae growled, jumping to his feet and pointing an accusatory finger at Azumi. Azumi jumped to her feet after carefully settling the bookmark down between the pages and then placing it on the small table at her side, before turning and sticking a tongue out at him childishly. The poor messenger remained in the doorway, frozen in shock that the two most powerful figures in the earth clan were so childish rather than the heroic figures they had been described to be.
"I'm visiting Hiro!" Azumi argued, ignoring her 'master' and jumping out of the window in one fluid movement. Geun-Tae growled but was getting harassed by his assistant to get moving, so had to forget about her actions and punish her later. However, Azumi couldn't care at the moment. She was not ready to see Soo-won again and would avoid him as much as she could. So, with a slightly terrified expression, Azumi ran all the way to the guard's barracks and then their training grounds. They were in the middle of a training session and the man supervising was more than surprised to see Azumi arrive at such a time.
"L-Lady Azumi! What a pleasant surprise!" The man cried in surprise, bowing hurriedly. Azumi sent him a polite smile while waving away the formalities.
"Relax, while the general's not around, I'm just like you. Now, is it all right if I visit Hiroshi?" Azumi asked, making the male nod furiously. Before he could ask if she could teach a lesson, she was already gone, leaving the male flabbergasted. Azumi slid through the training guards and over to the back corner where a very familiar blonde was battling it out against a dummy. With a cheeky grin, Azumi snuck up behind him and right beside his ear.
"Boo" Azumi whispered. Hiro screeched in surprise, accidentally throwing his sword. Azumi caught it without batting an eyelash, instead leaning back and watching as Hiro whipped around to glare at her, a large pout forming on his lips. Azumi just snickered at him, amused by his displeasure.
