"This is not what I signed up for..." Azumi sighed, gazing at her companion with a distasteful expression. She fiddled with her dress, feeling highly uncomfortable in the heavy fabric, but that was not the cause of her distaste.

Ever since they had arrived at the port town, already in costume and separated from the others, Jae-ha and Azumi had been given the special treatment. Jae-ha was thriving under the attention, the attention-seeking playboy was in his element with all the females on the boat. There were nobles from all over the continent on this boat, all having brought their wives or some friends with them, all of which were instantly attracted to Jae-ha. This left Azumi all on her lonesome, sitting in the room's corner while thinking longingly of having a bodyguard who was decent enough to look after her rather than flirt with other women. Azumi was irritated by the swelling in her chest, jealousy running thick through her veins. She was frustrated, frustrated at Jae-ha for being a 'master of love' while somehow being as dense Hak, and frustrated at herself for having these overwhelming feelings. Azumi accepted the fact that she liked Jae-ha, moreover was in love with him, despite knowing that he was a playboy who would take any woman who threw themselves at him. Azumi was bitter, and she hated it with a passion. At least, that's what Azumi blamed when she was ripped out of her thoughts by someone speaking to her.

"You're Azumi, right? May I sit here?" A voice spoke, Azumi inwardly cursing for letting her visage drop for a second, before turning with a charismatic smile.

"Of course, it would honour me," Azumi said with a close eye smile, not having even looked at the male yet. She heard the creak of someone sitting on the ship's bench beside her, and Azumi turned to look at who had sat beside her. She was pleasantly surprised to find a nobleman from north Kouka, a man she had actually met previously. He was quite attractive and young as well, the sort of guy that Yona would have been swooning over if Soo-won hadn't been in the picture. With rich brown hair pulled into a small ponytail at the back of his head, and cinnamon orbs that glowed with mirth, he was nothing short of gorgeous. However, Azumi was used to keeping her mask on, so she merely smiled at him and bowed her head ever so slightly.

"Quite a bodyguard you've got there" The nobleman mused, a small smirk curling across his lips as he glanced to Jae-ha. Azumi followed his gaze with a quiet sigh, watching the green dragon say something that sent the crowd of women into another wave of giggles. He was visibly glowing, with Azumi's glass of wine held between his fingers. All the party-goers had been gifted the wine, but because Azumi was here on more important terms than others, she had given it to him. It seemed that now multiple women were shoving their glasses towards him, wanting to get him drunk for what Azumi presumed would be indecent adventures. Little did they know that he was a borderline alcoholic who could easily hold up against Hak, who could down the stuff for a night before feeling a little jittery.

They were monsters, literally.

"He's new to the job, as you're aware I'm usually the bodyguard" Azumi defended, her weariness clear on her face. The nobleman chuckled to himself, taking a sip of his sake before holding it out to Azumi in a silent offering. Azumi quickly denied it with a quiet thankyou which seemed to displease the male.

"You should be the one enjoying yourself, not your bodyguard," The male said, a frown on his face as he sent a dirty look from the corner of his eyes to Jae-ha. It seemed multiple of the male party-goers and other bodyguards were doing the same. Azumi sighed and mentally scolded the green-haired male, as he was breaking their cover. Most nobles had enough common sense to not get wasted when they were heading to the party, and definitely not flirt with other's wives or soon to be wives. With yet another sigh, Azumi excused her self before marching over to the greenette who was too preoccupied to realise her presence. From the corner of her eye, Azumi noticed multiple men perking up in interest and watching them like hawks. Azumi would have to be careful about this situation and hope to any deity up there that Jae-ha didn't stuff this up for them. Walking up behind the greenette, Azumi coughed into her fist to gain his attention. Luckily for her, it worked, and he was quick to turn and look over his shoulder. He raised a curious eyebrow while Azumi narrowed her eyes at him, hoping to silently convey to him that he was an idiot and needed to listen to her.
