Azumi was in a daze.

From the moment they threw her in the cell, Azumi had not moved an inch from her sprawled position. Her muscles ached from the lack of movement and her neck hurt from the awkward angle, but she couldn't find it in herself to move. She had lost all concept of time as she faded in and out of consciousness, always waking up to the same moss-covered cell. Every once in a while, one of Yanagi's lackeys came down to her and abused her verbally despite her lack of response. Yanagi himself had yet to come down, but from the whispers through the vents of the cell, Azumi presumed that something had come up and he was extremely busy. She could feel the tension skyrocket, a conflict going through the cult-like guild that put them on edge. Azumi hadn't figured out exactly what just yet, and she didn't have the mental strength to do so.

The only thing that ran through her numb mind was Yona, Hak, Jae-ha and the other dragons. The betrayal and disappointment in their expressions when Azumi reacted negatively to their support, especially in Hak's and Jae-ha's faces. Hak was someone that Azumi treasured with her life. Ever since she had entered the castle, he was always a step behind her, either annoying her and supporting her. He was the reason that she had a smile on her face as the days passed; he was the reason that her shell crumbled and she could face any person without flinching at the slightest of movements. Their relationship had become rocky once the protective layer's King Il had built fell, with Azumi abandoning him and the princess when they needed her most and conferring with King Soo-won even after his betrayal. However, Azumi knew that she could count on Hak to come and rescue her and then beat the crap out of her for thinking that she could do anything without him.

And then there was Jae-ha.

Jae-ha, the green dragon who had been the most consistent part of her life as of late. He consistently made her smile, was always there by her side when she needed him most and was the person she had been falling for harder every day. From the first moment, when they met eyes through the crowd and Jae-ha's jumped with her in his arms, she had slowly been falling in love with it. She hated it and she hated him, from that cocky grin to that playboy flirty exterior. And yet, he was always there. He was there when she broke her pledge to king Il and killed the soldier; he was there when she was recovering from the wounds she gained in the forts of Kai, he was there during her recent adventures in Xing. He was always there, and it was making Azumi fall for him hard, which scared her beyond words.

Azumi feared trusting someone again.

"Azumi..." A quiet voice whispered, breaking Azumi out of her thoughts. She glanced over at her visitor, only to scowl and turn away again. For the first time since she had arrived, she had the energy to move, and that was to turn away from her guest.

"Azumi, please listen to me... I thought you where dead...!" Ren, the boy who Azumi had thought she had lost, whispered out desperately, his tone sounding desperate as he grabbed onto the cell's bars. Azumi's scowl darkened, her lips sealed shut as she struggled not to snap at the boy. There was the slam of a door upstairs and Ren gasped, sounding terrified, as his head whipped between Azumi and the door he had silently entered through.

"Please, listen to me while I still have time!" Ren hissed, his tone filled with a desperation that only angered Azumi more. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists, refusing to respond in the slightest. Ren's eyebrows furrowed as he came close to crying. He had finally got to see his role model again, and she was ignoring him.

"I didn't have a choice in joining this guild. They took me in after the fight and forced me to stay here. The one time I tried to leave left me with this scar... But that's not the point, I have crucial information! I want to help you, Azumi! They believe that I'm one of them now. I've been waiting for this chance, just please listen to me!" He hurriedly spat out, his gaze now permanently laying on the door where the sound of thundering footsteps was growing louder and louder.
