chapter 6 invasion of earthrealm

Shao Khan launched an invasion on earthrealm.  I of course went there to fight.  I fought back a portal of tarkatan warriors. But I went to meet up with the others. I found a man that came through a portal.  He was scarred.  He saw me and looked ready to fight.

Y/n: Do you fight with Shao Khan?

?: No. So I guess you're friend?

Y/n: Yeah.

?: You are not authorized for portal use.

We looked to see cyber sub zero and Sheeva.

Y/n: You get the robot.  I got four arms.

?: By the way, names Kabal.

Y/n: Mine is Y/n.

Sheeva charged me. She was faster than Goro. But fighting him made me used to the whole four arms thing. I beat her quickly and Kabal beat Cyber Sub Zero.

Smoke: Kuai Liang!

Smoke ran past us to check on Sub Zero. We took Sub Zero back with us and manages to turn off his behavior modifier.  Sub Zero did not like what he bacame.  We chose to use him as a spy. He accepted this and went to see what he could do.

He found out Quan Chi was attempting to make a soulnado. I went to Nightwolf to assist Sub Zero in stopping it. When we got there the soulnado was happening.   I had to fight Noob Saibot while Nightwolf fought Quan Chi. 

Noob and I traded blows. Me made a portal and went through it. I saw through the plan and caught him coming up behind me. I punched him away. Noob went to punch me, I kicked him into the soulnado which caused it to explode.   We went back to see that even that was not enough. 

Raiden wanted to go see the elder gods. He took me and Liu Kang with him.  When we arrived the talking was pointless, the rules was that the realms could not be merged, and the invasion itself was now against the rules in itself. 

At that point.  I was wishing my father was here. From all the stories I heard about him, he could have beaten Shao Khan easily.   Why did he have to get sick? To think that he died ro disease after beating all the elder we now want to protect us. 

But yet, I am his son. And I was supposed to take his mantel as the elder god fighter. And here I am. Begging for help. I feel helpless.   This shouldn't be happening, I should have killed Shao Khan the first time.   The elder gods refused to help us.  And with that we teleported back to earthrealm.  

When we arrived we saw Nightwolf sacrifice himself to kill some woman.  I looked around to see almost everyone dead.

Y/n: N...No! This...this is all my fault.  I should have been here! DAMN ITTTTTTTTTT! 

Raiden: I will go to Quan Chi. To ally our realm with his.

I couldn't believe my ears.  Raiden went, while Liu Kang and I helped any wounded.  The only ones being Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade.  

Liu: You see it too. Raiden has gone mad.

Y/n: No. It is my fault.  I saw it before that he was wrong and failed to act on it.  I must fix this. 

I walked and Liu Kang followed to the roof where the portal was opening.  Raiden appeared in front of us.

Raiden: Wait!

Y/n: Out of my way! I don't care about your visions any longer!

Liu: I will kill Shao Khan.

Raiden: You can not. Have fate in the elder gods. Y/n, have faith in Cetrion.

I looked down at my feet.

Y/n: Very well.

Liu: No!

Liu Kang attacked Raiden and I didn't know what to do.

Liu: If you must die then so be it!

Liu attacked Raiden. Raiden's attack made the fire go back to Liu which made him catch on fire.

Raiden: By the gods no!

Y/n: NO!

I rushed to Liu as he fell down extremely. 

Y/n: Not you too! I already lost kung! I don't want to lose my only other brother!

Liu weakly: Y/n. Please. Kill Shao Khan.

He died and I let out a wail of sadness as tears left my eyes. In such a short time I lost both of the men I called my brothers. The only family I had.

Johnny and Sonya attempted to fight Shao Khan but failed.  Raiden surrendered but Shao Khan beat Raiden to a pulp.  He looked at me.

Shao: Look how pathetic you are.  You lost. And the realms will be mine.

Golden dragons came from the sky and circled around me.  I felt power rush through me.

Y/n: You violate the rules. I get it now! Raiden was right!  But I don't need their power to kill you. Hear me elder gods!  Let me fight this battle alone! It is my only request!

The dragons left me and circled overhead.

Shao: I will deal with the elder gods but first I'll kill you.

Y/n: No. You won't win. I AM Y/N L/N THE SON OF THE ELDER  GOD FIGHTER! YOU KILLED MY FIRENDS, NOW I'LL KILL YOU FOR ALL YOU'VE DONEEEEE!

Shao Khan charged and went for a hammer swing. I ducked and delivered three punches to his gut making him drop his hammer. Shao went for a punch. But again I dodged and delivered two to his arm. He couldn't move his arm.

Shao: What?!

Y/n: You have weaknesses you didn't even know you had.

He went for a charge. I kicked him down and hovered over hin. I kicked him once in the head stunning him. 

Y/n: Goodbye bastard!

I stomped his head multiple times. Eventually his head was nothing left put bloody. Paste underneath my feet.  I knew he was dead. A light took him up to the heavens. 

I looked back at Liu and went to him kneeling down beside him.

Y/n: I did it Liu. I avenged everyone. 

I felt a hand touch my shoulder.  I turned to see Cetrion looking at me with a warm smile. I hughed her and she let me cry into her.

Cetrion: You did it my love, you've won.

I didn't know what was next. But I would never forget who I lost.
