"For the tenth time, you do not play it in the major scale!" Blondie exclaimed as she sat at the piano. "You're wrong!" Luhan yelled back as he threw his hands in the air. She sighed and put both of her hands on his cheeks, "Listen to my words carefully: You do not play this song in the major scale. It is in the minor scale!"
He shook his head, "It's in the major scale!" The two continued to argue until they heard someone's voice from behind them, "She's right. You play it in the minor scale." Turning around, Blondie looked into the eyes of one of the twin brothers she had met earlier. She smiled, "Forgive me, but which brother are you again?"
"Dae--Jaemin," he quickly corrected himself. Luhan scrunched an eyebrow, "Daejaemin? Is that even a name?" Laughing nervously, Jaemin quickly cleared his throat, "I didn't mean to say 'Dae.'" Luhan nodded and gestured towards the piano, "I assume you play the piano then, correct? Since you know what scale you play this song in."
The boy nodded as he walked towards the piano, "May I?" Blondie nodded and stood, but Luhan sat there; his arms crossed as he wore a stern expression. "Luhan, stand up so he can sit and play," Blondie said as she nudged his back with her knee. Never moving his eyes away from Jaemin, Luhan stood and smirked, "It's all your's."
Stretching his fingers, Jaemin sat down on the bench as he paused for a minute to quickly scan his eyes over the sheet music. After a few seconds, he closed the book and began playing. Blondie raised her eyebrows in awe at him as the music flowed throughout the room. After a minute or so, the music ended and was soon replaced by Blondie clapping.
"That was amazing! How did you remember the notes by only skimming over it quickly?" she asked. The boy shrugged and shot her a crooked smile, "I just did." She smiled back and shyed away from his gaze, "We better get to class. It was nice seeing you again Jaemin!" Picking up her bag, Blondie walked out of the music room as she disappeared down the hallway.
Jaemin too picked up his bag and made his way to the door, but Luhan stopped him. Standing with his arms crossed, the older boy sighed, "Look, I don't know who you are exactly, but I have a feeling I know you from somewhere." The younger boy raised his eyebrows as he laughed nervously, "Really?"
"Yes, but there's something different about you. Something--something that I don't really like. You seem too mysterious and also, you seem like you're attracted to Blondie, so let me tell you something: I have my eyes on you and if I sense that you're a possible threat, well, we're going to have a problem."
Jaemin chuckled as he twisted the door knob and left. "Such an idiot. If only he knew who he was talking to," Jaemin spoke quietly as he walked down the hallway and turned into the locker room to get ready for weight lifting.
