A few weeks later...
"Hey girls," Kris and Luhan greeted as they sat down across from Sara and Blondie. "Hey," they replied barely audible. Everything had been different since the news the girls had received a few weeks previous. Everyday they were affected by it; they no longer had that little shine in their eyes. The girls hadn't eaten too much and the dark circles under their eyes was proof their sleeping habits had been changed drastically.
The problem is that everyone was unaware that the "death" was all a hoax in an attempt to keep B.A.P.'s plan going. How else would Daehyun and Yongguk disguise themselves as Jaemin and Jaejoong to not only watch over the girls secretly without Kyung-Soon or Sun-Hee knowing, but also keep the plan thriving as they could easily get information now from Kyung-Soon and Sun-Hee without them knowing that they were truly Yongguk and Daehyun?
Though as each day passed, Yongguk and Daehyun started to wonder more and more if the hoax was worth it after seeing how the girls reacted to it, but of course Lieutenant Song was there to remind them that it was all for the girl's safety because now Kyung-Soon and Sun-Hee would have no reason to try and bring more danger to them, but was the Lieutenant right?
Sure, Kyung-Soon and Sun-Hee had begun paying less and less attention to Blondie and Sara, but was it going to be like that for good?
"I'm going to go to the music room," Luhan said as he stood. Blondie looked up at him as she stood also, "Can I go with you?" He nodded and small smile curved his lips as the two walked out of the library and down the hallway leaving Kris and Sara alone. The air between the two was cold and spacious as neither of them uttered a single word or barely breathed for that matter.
The more time that passed by, the more uncomfortable the feeling came for the two of them as they just sat there. In an attempt to try and ease the tension, Kris cleared his throat, "Sara." She looked up at him slowly as she managed a tiny smile, "Yes?" He shifted in his seat as he leaned forward, "Let's do something fun. Why don't we go to the movies tonight?"
She nodded, "Okay, that sounds fun." He smiled and reached over as he cased her hand in his and looked into her eyes with a gentle look, "I want you to be happier, Sara." She smiled and removed her hand as she straightened up, "I am." Kris shook his head slightlyt as sadness flooded his eyes, "I know you aren't and that's why I want you to know that I'm here for you."
Tears stung Sara's eyes as her the saliva in her throat got caught making her cough a little. Kris scooted over to the seat next to her as he wrapped her in his arms and let her cling onto him as she cried, "I just want him to be here again. It's not fair Kris, it's not fair." Closing his eyes, Kris slightly rocked back and forth as he smoother out her hair, "I know it's not, I know."
More tears began falling and after a few minutes, Sara pulled away, "Sorry, I shouldn't--I shouldn't have done-" but Kris shook his head, "No, don't be. I'm glad you finally got your feelings out." She smiled and wiped her face, "I feel a little bit better now." Kris smiled and pushed a piece of stray hair behind her ear, "And once we see the movie and get away from everything, you'll feel even better."
Sara smiled and nodded as the two began to talk with a more cheery tone unaware of the eyes that watched them from afar. Sighing, Jaejoong bit his quivering lip, "I'm sorry for causing you so much pain, Sara. I promise after the plan is over everything will be like it used to be but better. Just please, stay with Kris for now."
Before anyone saw him lurking, Jaejoong quickly walked out of the library, but he wasn't sly enough because off in the distance sitting next to Sara, Kris watched him with a clenched jaw and stern eyes.
"There's something strange about that kid," Kris thought to himself as he stared at the exit Jaejoong had just gone through.
