"Do we even want to know what that was?" Sara asked, her tone of voice frantic. Blondie looked around as she wringed her fingers, "Probably not. Let's just-let's just leave!"
The two girls began to run down the hallway, but before they knew it, their arms were grabbed as two voices began to laugh. Pushing the attackers away, Blondie and Sara looked up to see Kris and Luhan standing there.
With an amused grin, Kris bent down as he looked into Sara's eyes, "Did we scare you?" She rolled her eyes as she pushed his face away, "No, why would you?"
Luhan sighed as he stretched, "Maybe because you hauled it down the hallway just a minute ago." Blondie narrowed her eyes as she pushed him into a nearby locker, "Yah! Don't judge! You two kept making noises that sounded like-" but she stopped as soon as she realized what she saying.
Kris tilted his head, "Like Sun-Hee and Kyung-Soon?" Nodding her head slowly, Blondie tapped a curious finger on her chin, "How did you know?"
The two boys shrugged, "It's not hard to figure out, but did you girls find anything?"
Leaning against the wall, Sara folded her arms, "Not much, but we are suspicious of a few things." Kris nodded as he shoved his hands in his pockets, "Go on."
Shifting to put her weight on her opposite foot, Sara began explaining, "Why wasn't there a funeral? Also, why did Jaemin and Jaejoong show up not long after their supposed death? Don't you think it's a little strange?"
Kris shrugged, "I've seen stranger." Blondie chuckled lightly as she chimed in, "Well, you may have seen stranger, but something even more bizarre is the fact that Kyung-Soon and Sun-Hee are starting to believe their deaths were all a hoax."
Immediately, the atmosphere of the room changed as the two boys grew antsy. Both exchanging a nervous glance, Luhan cleared his throat, "The girls also think this?"
Blondie nodded as she scrunched an eyebrow, "Yes, why? Is there something you two aren't telling us?"
Kris chewed his bottom lip anxiously as he drew in a breath and pulled Luhan away from the girls. Watching as they kept their heads lowered in deep conversation, the two girls stood there as they themselves began to wonder why there was a sudden change in the boys.
"Okay girls, we have a few rules now," Kris announced as him and Luhan made their way over to Blondie and Sara.
The girls nodded for them to go on as Luhan began to explain, "We don't want you conversing with Kyung-Soon and Sun-Hee no matter the circumstance. If they come up to you, ignore them or walk the other way."
Sara sighed as she kicked off the wall, "That's going to be a little hard. Kyung-Soon is my step-sister you know."
Kris thought for a second, "Then try to stay away from her there. If anything, just arrive home later than usual or hang out with a few friends."
Nodding lightly, Sara turned to Blondie who's eyebrows were scrunched in confusion. Luhan kept his eyes on the floor as he asked, "What?"
Blondie folded her arms, "What's with the sudden outburst? Why are you two acting like this?" Luhan chuckled as his eyes met her's, "Acting like what?"
"Strange. Are we in more danger now? What are you two hididng from us?" Blondie asked as her glances switched between Kris and Luhan.
Kris ran a hand through his hair, "We're just trying to protect you two-" but Sara cut him off, "If we aren't in more danger, though, then we shouldn't have to be protected."
The two boys sighed in sync as Luhan set each of his hands on Sara and Blondie's shoulders, "Girls, trust us, please. Listen to our directions and follow them. We'll be able to tell you why we're doing this later, but for now, we can't."
Before one of the girls could reply, Kai appeared beside them. Smoke radiated off of him as he coughed a few times making black dust form in the air.
"Did Chanyeol have another fit?" Kris sighed as brushed the ash off of Kai's shoulder.
Barely nodding, Kai choked out, "Yes which is why we need you two." Kris and Luhan turned to the girls as they bid them a farewell before leaving with Kai.
"They're acting stranger than normal," Sara mumbled as her and Blondie began walking to the exit of the school. Blondie nodded, "I wonder what they are hiding from us?"
