Pinching the bridge of his nose, Yongguk's eyes fell shut as he heaved a sigh. A nauseous feeling spread through his body like a wild fire and he tried his best to maintain the urges to vomit. He despised dream jumping for this reason; it had always made him ill, but he had no choice. All he desired was for Sara to be safe and discovering new information from the previous night, he had to warn her.
"What am I supposed to tell them? That they aren't going to save the girls because the King gave me specific orders to just leave them and forget about them? Maybe you would like for me to tell them that I secretly formed a pact with you?"
Peering through the open doorway, Yongguk remained hidden as he listened to the older man's words; his eyes wide in disbelief as the feeling of betrayal caused his blood to boil.
"Yah, what are you-" Kris had begun to speak as he walked down the hallway to his room, but Yongguk quickly slapped his hand over the taller boy's mouth.
Pulling him down to the floor, Yongguk craned his neck to look into the room. As his eyes bestowed themselves upon Lieutenant Song, he felt a frown twist his plump lips downwards.
"Yes, alright. Mhm. Goodbye," with those final words, the elder man hung up and began walking towards the entrance.
Within seconds, Yongguk had hauled Kris down the hallway and into his room as they shut the door quickly, but managed to do so in a quiet manner. Kris looked at him in bewilderment as he exclaimed, "What's your problem?"
Shaking his head, Yongguk collapsed onto his bed as he buried his face in his hands. He honestly didn't feel like talking, but with Kris repeating his question constantly, Yongguk knew he had no choice. As he opened his mouth to speak, another voice spoke for him or should I say two voices, for that matter.
"Lieutenant Song isn't who we think he is. He has changed," Daehyun spoke from his own bed a few feet away.
Jumping, Yongguk and Kris looked at him, but their eyes soon traveled to Luhan who was sitting in the corner of the dimly lit room. As he moved objects with his mind, the deer-eyed boy added, "He made a pact with the King. That's why he doesn't want us saving the girls."
Furrowing his eyebrows, Kris shook his head, "If you two know so damn much, then why didn't you inform us?"
Daehyun sat up as he swung his legs over the side of the bed and rested his elbows against his thighs, "We didn't find out until a few minutes ago. My Matoki, KeKe, was the one who informed us. She said she had a vision of you two experiencing Lieutenant Song's chat with the King. Was she correct?"
A smile contorted onto Daehyun's face as he watched the boys nod their heads. Rising to his feet, Daehyun walked to his closet where he grabbed a jacket, "Then there was no reason for me to inform you."
As the pulled on his black leather jacket, he made his way towards the exit, but Yongguk stopped him, "Where are you going?"
With a smirk forming on the younger's plump lips, Daehyun explained, "Youngjae said we might have a chance to reach the planet if we fix the ship. Since I want to get the girls back to safety, I am going to work on the space ship as well as search for any evidence for Lieutenant Song's plans."
"Yah! Yongguk!" Lieutenant Song's voice pierced into the younger boy's mind; his thoughts shattering as he quickly spun around in his chair to face the elder man.
"Yes?" He answered shortly.
Reaching over to the clock next to him, the elder man answered, "Go to bed. It's late and you have a big day tomorrow."
"What am I to do tomorrow?" Yongguk queried, his eyes lazily meeting Lieutenant Song's.
Raising his eyebrows, the elder man smirked, "You're going to attempt to overthrow me, no?"
"H-how did you---just--sir," Yongguk stuttered, eyes wide as he slowly began straightening up.
