Look After A Naga [Naga Vincent × Reader]

16 - it's all my fault.

- (y/n)'s pov -

I wake to coldness one my head. Confusion hits me as Vincent quickly hugged as soon as i lifted up. He was very warm and cuddly. It felt like the world was spinning in my head.

"Oh god you are okay." Vincent, worryly, said. I haven't told him about my side, about numbness and the pain.

"I am fine, darling. I just haven't been properly sleeping but i am perfectly fine." I lied to him with a smile on my face. Guiltiness build up with in my heart.

"You are not-" "I. Am. Fine." I cut of fritz. I gave him a look. Not a bad look but one that told him to say quiet. I didn't want vincent to know.

"You been saved and you aren't dead maybe you could care more about your co-workers and your own god damn health. We all aren't fuxking ideas. Everyone knows you are lying about the situation. It even worst when you are lying about your health to the person that cares about more than everyone. So don't push him away from you." Richard said, coldly. He was done with the lies. An issue after another issue it got me stressed.

"One day, he wouldn't be the safety of your house. You can't say it is fine and shrug it off like it nothing. Like how you have being treating Kara's  disappearance." He was giving me advice but also harshly reminding me that i haven't been a good friend or coworker.

"I am fine everything is fine. I am not lying about anything." I said, holding back the frustration. I can tell he is mad... no, Furious. I been a bad friend and co worker. Kara cared for everyone trying her best to smile even when getting beaten up she smiled. I just pushed her disappearance to the side because i don't know.

I shouldn't have let her walk off. I knew she would get lost. She is probably at the woods.

"Dude, chill (y/n) under a lot of pressure and your just adding more. Stop trying to put unneed pressure on her because you can't accept that kara on a break because she works with you." Fritz said not really knowing the issue but only fuelling Richard's volcano of anger, bubbling up and ready to shot free.

Tears poured from my eyes as guilt ran through my mind. Vicnent held me confused why i was crying. My tears of regret and sorrow can't be an sorry. A sorry can't bring back Kara. I don't know where she can be.

"Kara was at the woods with me and (y/n). Sorry to hear that she disappeared. I know it is hard to know that your loved one is gone. I will help the best." Vincent offered support.

"I want her back... i need to holder her again and tell me how much she means to me." Richard went soft but still holding everything back but also guilt washed over his face.

"Kara is nice lady. Friendly and happy." Vincent to him with a smile. 

"She is friendly to everyone." Richard slight smiled at vincent.

"Hope she is okay." He didn't want someone to feel he felt when he though he was going to lose (y/n) to king asshole. (King's death was like his success, plummeting. Haha get it.)

"I am sorry... i told her no but vincent said she was same he could see her. We left her and them she texted us saying you would pick her up. I wanted to go but i was concerned about vincent. He was injured." I cried with a heavy heart.

"And you decided to ignore that fact. She didn't call me like i said days ago but no you shoved to the side!" Richard yelled.

"I didn't want you to worry." I cried and cried. I cried a river but it didn't change a things.

"Sparky looked for and tried to find her. Mike helped and he dislikes her. You refused to accept that she was missing. You sat at your fucking desk feeling bad about yourself while your friend and co worker maybe be dead possible be hurt." He went off it. He wasn't going to let me explain.

"I am sorry." Vincent looked down shamed.

"Dude chill. They just put to much faith in kara. She did this to herself." Fritz said, eating a bag of gummy worms.

"Yes i have some part in it but there were choice what (y/n) could have made and risk assessments she should have took when you have a easy loseable person." Richard said.

"If you didn't kick her out of your house then she wouldn't have to look for friend to hang with." Fritz said.

"What did you do when she went to yours for help? Hmm?" Richard was going at it.

"Kara said everyone shut the door on her." I said.

"Lets go looking through the woods. She wouldn't be far." Vincent suggested.

"What woods?" Richard asked.

"The one near the flood gate." I told him.

"Got it. I am taking vincent." He said.

"No. You can't." I was afraid that richard was going to hurt Vincent but i haven't seen richard hurt anything or anyone.

"Vincent do you want to come help me find kara with me." He asked Vincent.

"Sure." Vincent nodded and smiled that he was getting to help.

"Lets go." Richard told him. They both left, leaving me with fritz who was trying to call kara. Not fully grasping the idea that she is lost in the woods. Probably dead possible Hurt.

I laid down and just breathed. Taking in the silence. Once they come back with Kara it will all be okay.
