Author's POV:

Y/N anxiously taps her fingers on the desk as the history teacher passes back the tests the students took yesterday. She hardly had time to study for it, since the two goons sitting on both sides of her had kept her busy with their crazy antics. Finally, the moment of truth arrived when her paper was set face-down on the desk. She gulps before picking it up and reading the results. She frowns at the percentage shown and throws her head back with a groan.

"Awe, man, I completely bombed this test!" The redhead sitting on her left pats the girl's back in a comforting manner in hopes to cheer her up.

"It's okay. Look, we all did bad. I got a sixty-fou—" before Liam could finish Y/N exclaims,

"97!" Liam fell silent a look of complete disbelief on his face. His mouth had opened and closed many times like a fish, yet no words came out. When looking over at his buddy, Ethan he found a similar look upon his face.

Ever so slowly, Ethan raises a stick of dynamite with a lighter held up to the fuse because if that grade is considered bad, this life ain't worth living.
