Chapter 1
It was the middle of the day, of course, and I was completely bored. How could someone last this long in a school? I had been here just long enough to get to lunch and now my interest in everything was ebbing. I was bored and tired of everything these humans thought and said. Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, Human Geography, Languages, Literature. The only thing I was looking forward to was the weight lifting class I had at the end of the day. I felt someone tap me hesitantly on the shoulder. At first I ignored them, but they tapped me again.
I slowly turned around, from watching the trees outside, and looked up at tall girl. She wore glasses that fit just barely on her face. She had mild acne wore loose black jeans with a hoodie displaying the school logo. I tilted my head asking "What?"
She looked around the room and then back to me. I did the same and realized everyone was paired up with someone. We were the only two people left. I looked at the teacher who was watching me with angry eyes. I sighed and muttered "Guess we'll be partnered together, huh?"
The girl nodded slightly and went to sit at one of the lab benches. I slowly stood and followed her. She had two pieces of paper and had a pencil in her hand. Glass stuff sat on the bench in front of me waiting for us to start our experiment. I looked at the chemicals and then teacher said "Begin!" And she quickly flipped over one of the papers revealing directions.
I watched the girl as she quickly started reading and then she said slowly "You read this and I'll go ahead and get started." I nodded and took the paper. It took me a bit longer to read it and by the time I had finished she was halfway through and was scribbling complicated formulas onto the paper. I glanced over them and then watched her handing her a tube.
She smirked and I asked indignantly "What!?" She just laughed not answering. I crossed my arms, angered a bit. I asked once more "What!?"
She slid the paper closer to me and said "We've already added 4 Aland 3 O2. We are here," she pointed to another equation that read 3 H2+Fe2 O3. I nodded and handed her another tube my face reddening a bit.She just continued to smirk as she combined the two chemicals and continue writing down numbers and letters.
I just watched confused as ever. I absolutely hated chemistry and it was still my first day. I slowly stood walking to the front leaving the girl to her equations. I looked down at the teacher and mumbled "May I go to the bathroom?" The teacher doesn't even look up before nodding. I hustle to the door opening it and stepping out into the hall way. I looked around not knowing exactly where the bathroom was so I slowly sniffed. Maybe there would be a smell to the bathroom. I made a face and then turned left heading down the hall way towards the smell.
I finally got to the bathroom running inside and then over to one of the urinals. I sighed in relief after I had finished using it and went over to the counter. I washed my hands and then looked at myself in the mirror. I was tall. Almost too tall to even fit through the doors. My eyes were dark. Black in fact though right after lunch I knew they had been closer to their normal color which was a dark, greyish blue. My hair was longer than most guys', covering most of my face. It was black though the ends turned to a light silver. Even trying to dye them wouldn't get rid of the silver tips.
My muscles though were a sight. They were bulging. Way to big had I been any shorter. Though most of them probably thought I was on steroids anyway. They stretched the seams of my shirt as well as my pants. I was lucky I even had clothes. I use to just sit at home with loose shorts and no shirt. That was because I was home schooled though. I couldn't live like that anymore. I actually had to pay attention and try now. I had to talk to people and hope I didn't get so pissed I couldn't help but to try and kill them.
My naturally tanned skin made me look like I was from the Middle East or I was some kind of Native American. In fact I was Native American. You could especially tell from my name of my lineage.
I watched someone walk in behind me and stand to watch me for a second. I quickly growled slightly. He looked down though didn't make a move. I turned around glaring at him. He returned the gesture and I made a huffing noise before looking away from him and leaving.
He was one of my friends. Or had been. He had quit the homeschooling my mother had offered two years before and had decided to go into Highschool in 9th grade. Most of my ex-friends had decided to do that. They had not listened to me when I had said we should wait another year. In turn every single one had been almost beaten to death.
Now I was the new kid. Though from my gigantic size I doubted anyone would try and beat me up. I finally exited the bathrooms and headed back to class and looked back at the girl. She sat with her arms crossed waiting for me.
She waited impatiently until I sat back down. She handed me the piece of paper and a pencil and said "You write whatever I say." I just rolled my eyes a bit. She snickered under her breath and started talking before I could even protest.
