a bit earlier than seven in the evening when calum came to pick her up. he knocked on the door twice before it opened, a happy houston greeting her with a huge grin. she had the same outfit; simplicity. leather jacket, shirt, skinny jeans, boots.

“dad, calum’s here. can i go now?” she asked.

“okay! but be home before midnight!” randy yelled from the kitchen.

“okay!” she yelled back then closed the door behind her. “is 100 monkeys really going to be there tonight?” she bit her lower lip.

“yeah.” he nodded. “you look gorgeous by the way.” he can’t help but let it slip through his mouth.

“uh, thank you.” she uttered with a blush.

“shall we?” he gestured at her to get up on his pick-up car.

-

“you can watch him move as he grooves by frame.
in a mess of curls as the girls scream his name.”

the vocalist of 100 monkeys, jackson rathbone sang and pointed the microphone at the crowd for them to continue.

“spencer bell!” houston continued, screaming at the top of her voice.

calum can’t help himself but just stare at her the entire song and he loved how she enjoyed the gig very much. he loved how she would bang her head and groove along the live music. he loved that huge smile on her face and the real laughter she was having. he was mesmerized, very stunned with her beauty and everything.

“calum!” she yelled to make herself audible from the loud crowd and music. it interrupted his fascination though.

he just made a gesture of him asking ‘what?’ at her

“thank you for this night!” she kept yelling.

“what?!” he yelled back, not able to understand what she said.

“i said, thank you for this night! you’re the best!” she screamed at the top of her lungs and jumped up, wrapping her arms around his neck. “thank you for making me happy tonight.”
